Getting my tongue pierced

I never thought to myself that I would get it, but when I saw my sisters boyfriend with it I knew I had to get it. It was on July 7,2000. He called me up and said that he was going to take me to go get it done. As we pulled up to the studio I was thinking to myself what am I doing-but I knew that If I didn't get it then I probably was never gonna get it-I felt like it was the time. I walked in the studio-friendly they were.

What are you gonna get done today is what they asked-as I was shaking I stuck my tongue out-and she got the idea.She told me to calm down as I was filling out the papers.My sisters boyfriend whose name is Dexter was telling me that its not that bad-right he was. We walked in the back, she had me sit in one of those chairs that you sit in when you go to the dentist and she told me to rinse my mouth out with some of the mouth wash that sehe had sitting right there. afterwards I watched her as she took the brand new needle out of the package and she told me to stick my tongue out very far(because I wanted it in the middle) she told me not to move it while she put the clamp on it to hold it in place while she looked underneath to determine where she was going to stick the hole in.

I wasn't scared-I was more worried about what my mom was going to think.Then she did it she stuck the needle in from the bottom-I felt nothing.Then when she got finished- I didn't think she was done cause I felt absolutely no pain at all. I stuck my tongue back in my mouth for the first time which felt very strange or uncoordinative. Afterwards she gave me some more mouth wash and told me to go rinse my mouth out once more.I loved it right as I looked in the mirror-I was thinking to myself how I was gonna keep these metal in my mouth at all times. She then gave me a paper with the instructions on how to take care of it-I paid her 40$ and she told us to come back soon.

I ate at popeyes that same day-I couldn't eat it like I wanted to but I just had to eat it very slow.Later on that night my tongue was really swelling up-it stayed swollen very fat for about 3 days and it also bled off and on for 3 days.She told me to sleep with my head up to avoid alot of swelling.I was really worried for a minute when I saw how fat my tongue was but It went down after a day or so, it stayed swollen and sore around the hole for about 3wks but after awhile my tongue started to look back normal like it did before.I've gotten used to having it in my mouth-I don't think I would feel the same without it.

I sucked on some ice most of the time because that makes the swelling go down.....Its not how people told me it would be....now I'm enjoying it to the fullest, alot of people notice it because I seem to play with it all the time.However you don't have to show it to anyone you don't want to.Its now November and I 've bought three more tongue rings with assorted colors, I prefer the shorter posts because it seems like its not even there, but I put the longer posts in whenever I want to play with it.

Oh, it also feels very good when you are kissing with it-I have to say that it has made my sex life better....By the way my mom liked it and said she wanted her one. Turns out it wasn't as bad as everyone said it was gonna be-at least not for me-but everyone is different.Oh-you cant change it untill a month later when all initial swelling has gone down. I think its great and would do it again if I had to. Oh, and a tattoo does hurt worse!!!!If you don't like your piercing leave it out for a couple of minutes and your piercing should close up.If you have a tattoo already just know that a tattoo hurts worser-and if you have your ear pierced at the top lobe just know that getting your tongue pierced doesn't hurt as worse as that-at least not for me it didn't.
