As I play with the rod and balls in my mouth I try to decide how to start....I love playing with the balls in my mouth, it is the coolest feeling. Of course now people fixate on it when I am kissing them.

Let's see, I have been thinking about a tongue ring for two years, off and on. I am an engineering major and have a father that tells me it would look very unprofessional. But, some times you have to break away from the parental units and hope that they don't take the car away. I have thought about a tatoo as well, but with the ring I can always take it out. I don't want to pay thousands for surgery to take the tat off.

My best bud Jackie and I were at a party Saturday night. Her drinking and me driving. One of our friends from the past was there and she had her tongue pierced. I didn't even notice it until she showed us. Well Jacks and I looked at each other and said okay - we are getting it down next Friday. All Sunday afternoon I thought about it. We were going out to eat with a couple I know and I said - that's it we are getting it done tonight before you chicken out. I have four ear pierces and she chickened out getting her's done. She has no - and I mean NO tolerance for pain. Well we had our last good meal for that week - Jacks steak and I lobster and we went to the shop. We took our tooth brushes in to the restaurant as well, talk about the strangest stares. One person even said "hey you're brushing your teeth"

We got there and the place was closed. Of course jackie said it was fate, we are not suppose to get them. The owner came to the door and said that they were closed. We looked really disappointed, at least I did. He asked what we wanted and we both said tongue rings. He looked at us and said, okay we have time for that. WHOOP! We filled out the forms and paid our money. There were five people in there and they all wanted to be in the room watching this needle go inside our tongues.

Jacks said she wanted to go first because she was afraid that she would run out the door. So she sat on the chair, my lover Brian holding her hand and me brushing my fingers through her hair trying to calm her down. It was time, the very calming piercer talked it through with her. Jacks was tight, wound up, she looked like she was going to pass out. She left bruises on Brian's arm as soon as the guy brought out the clamps. It was going to be a rough ride. I watched the whole thing, even when she cried out. Lets just say everyone in there had never heard someone scream so loud in their lives. Especially since she had a clamp over her tongue. The piercer had to go outside and smoke because she scared the shit out of him.

My turn next. I just took big breathes, smiled for the camera a few times and closed my eyes before the needle went in. It didn't hurt at all. Yes you could feel the needle, it didn't hurt, a little weird, but there is no pain, just don't freak out.When he started putting the balls on was the only time I felt uncomfortable. Brian even complained that I was boring because I didn't flinch. There was no blood either, until I stuck it out for everyone to see. Jackie bled like crazy, me - none at all.

I went out and ate the very next day. I didn't have any swelling, I just had a lot of drooling while I was sleeping. Unfortunately jackie swell up right away. She couldn't talk to anyone, or eat, or drink properly. Of course the best part is having a wonderful excuse to eat a lot of ice-cream

Now she is doing great, hers even looks totally healed, while mine is ripped in the front from too much kissing - heavy kissing - and alittle infected. Suggestion - use a Dental Oxide from Eckards. It is like Hydrogen Peroxide for your mouth. It worked great and didn't taste that bad either.

I have had it for four weeks now - and my parents still don't know. We are going on a cruise in May, I guess I will tell them on the ship.

I haven't changed out the bar, I like rubbing it along my lips, but I keep hitting my teeth. One day I am going to chip them. I haven't changed out the balls either. I am trying to look on line to find a sight which has pretty cool ones. That it how I found this sight.
