I had gotten my first piercing when I was 4 years old. They were my lobes. I quickly fell in love with piercing. I liked the style and they looked. Being that my mother wasn't a piercing fan I was only able to get my ears done (until I convinced her to let me get my tongue done). I was 12 when I got my other lobes, and my cartilage done. When I turned 16, I was able to get my tragus and the other cartilage done.

I had to beg my mom to let me get another piercing because, she made me promise that if she let me get my tongue done I wouldn't get any tattoos or more piercing until I turned 21. I really wanted some more piercing, because by this time I was addicted to them, and wanted to even up my ears...it did look a little strange. So she agreed that I could get them done when I went to Florida to see my dad, that summer.
I decided I was going to get my industrial, and an inner conch piercing. My dad took me to Mothers Grievance Tattoo and Body Piercing shop. It was the shop my cousin was a tattoo artist at. He had been working there for several years, and my dad had gotten his eyebrow done there. It was a very clean, and highly respected shop, and it had a fun environment. They had a back room for the people who got genital and female nipple piercing. I got mine done out where they do the tattoos. I cant remember the guys name, but I know he could speak Russian, because I heard him on the phone with someone. He was a tall, stocky man, with piercing, and tattoos, he was bald, and had a dark go-T. Anyways since I was only 17 at the time, my dad had to sign the consent forms and everything.
I sit in the chair while he gets the materials ready. He cleans my ears and marks the places where he was going to pierce, and showed them to me in the mirror to make sure they were in the places I wanted. He puts on his gloves, gets the clamps, the 3 hoops, and the beads, and also gets the industrial bar, and takes the needles out of the packages. He explained to me that it would heal better if he just put the hoops in the holes the industrial bar would be going through., and that he would give me the bar to take home.
By this time I already had 7 other piercing in my ears and my tongue done. So I really wasn't that nervous. I grab the arms of the chair and get ready for him to do his thing. He does the conch first, and gets that out of the way. (which didn't hurt that much, I'll get to that one another day)
After doing the conch, he looks at me and says, "Are you ready for the other two?" I said, "Yea, I'm ready when you are." He did the lower part of it first. That one was the most painful ear piercing I have had. It also bled a little bit, which scared me some because I've never had a piercing bleed. I'm guessing I may have gotten a little pale from it, since I was a little worried about the bleeding, because he asked me if I was ok. I told him I was fine, and was still ready for the next one.
The clamps were a little weird for this one, he had to fuss with them a little bit. He puts the needle, and the jewelry through. This one hurt but, but not as bad as the other one did. I looked in the mirror, and they looked strange because they were all hoops, and to have hoops in the directions the piercing were in made it look a little funny. As far as he initial piercing though they looked great.. He gave me the H2Ocean, went over the care and how long they had to stay in before I could change them out and how long i had to constantly have them in for, and I paid and gave him a $10 tip.
Sleeping that night was a little difficult. I had to sleep where my head was on the pillow but the top of my ear wasn't. It was awkward, but I got through it. It itched like crazy and felt good when I flipped the hoops up and down. It the top one also crusted up a lot, but they heeled with no problem. Overall it wasn't a bad experience.
