So in the year 2006 I went on a piercing frenzy. I had both of my cartiladges pierced at the beginning of the year (February and March), I pierced my 3rd and 4th holes with a sewing needle (bad idea) only about a month a part(April and May) and got both of my tragus's and eyebrow pierced (August). Oh and in December of that year I got my Inner Helix pierced too.

Originally I planned on getting my lip pierced instead of my eyebrow but my mom lied to me. She said in January of that year she'd let me get my lip pierced if I still wanted it for my birthday in August but she still wouldn't let me get it but she'd let me get my eyebrow. She doesn't like facial piercings so I was lucky she would even let me get my eyebrow.

That summer I went to Canada and one of my friends who was visiting there with us had her tragus pierced. I thought it was very cool and asked my mom if she'd let me get it. My mom likes ear piercings though so she said yes. I was going to get it pierced in Canada but the guy we were driving around with refused to stop by the only piercing place we saw.

That was about a month before my birthday so my mom said I would just have to wait a little while. My birthday finally came and I went to Tribal Rites. That was my first time there but I have gone back many other times since then.

It is a very clean studio and they know what they are doing. I definitely suggest Tribal Rites to anybody in Colorado that is near it. I was only 15 and the girl at the counter said the only person who pierced people under 16 was the owner Mike and he was only there on Thursdays.

That was a Tuesday. So I waited two more days and went back. I had made an appointment because Mike usually only stayed till 3 and I didn't get out of school until 3. I told the girl at the counter I wanted my eyebrow and tragus's. My mom filled out the form but I had forgotten my ID. Mike said that me and my mom looked a lot a like so he let it slide just that once.

I picked out the jewelry I wanted. A curved barbell for my eyebrow and two of the smallest rings they had for my tragus's. Mike got all cleaned up and called me back.

He pierced my eyebrow first and then came the time for my tragus's. He put a cork in my ear and told me to breath in and as I was breathing out he pierced it. It was painful but not that bad. The only thing I didn't like was I could hear the needle go through every layer of skin. He put the ring through which was probably the most painful part because moved it around a lot.

Then he did the other side. Still not that painful but painful enough to make me wince a lot. He put the ring through and I was done. I was all shaky probably because these were the first piercings I had done professionally with a needle. Also because I got 3 done at a time. I paid at the counter and it cost a lot for the 3 of them but my mom paid half because it was part of my birthday present.

My eyebrow hurt a lot worse than my tragus's. They healed quite well except my left one got a bump on the inside part. That hurt a lot but after much babying of it it healed and has been wonderful. My eyebrow sadly had to be taken out but I still have both of my tragus's and I love them.

If you are thinking about getting a tragus piercing go for it! They are not that painful and there is definitely more painful piercings. I now have 17 piercings and my tragus piercings were probably the least painful. I have my inner helix, 8 lobe piercings, both my tragus's of course, two standard cartilage piercings, a 3 point spiral and my rook. I also used to have my lip pierced but that didn't work out. I have a stories on BME of my eyebrow, Lip, Helix, Spiral, and rook and pictures of them up somewhere on here.

I plan on getting many other piercings such as my industrial, two different orbitals, my rook again, and maybe my tongue doubled pierced. I love piercings and want to at least try a lot of different piercings.

Feel free to contact me. I love talking to other people about piercings. Have fun with piercings and don't touch fresh piercings. Take good care of them and everything will go good.
