Today. Another pre-arranged day to bleed. I basicly woke up in the morning, not even thinking about the event. Seems the the expereince of getting pierced(dermaled in this case) has dulled down alot for me. The reason I was really going is because it was my best friends first 'professional' piercing. She was extermely excited about the event and talked about getting her piercing all week. Adorable.

We pull up to the studio and walk in. Her eyes light up when she sees the counter. It's packed about 10 people just wondering around. But since I'm so famous there, everything was stoped and my form was given to me. Wooha. Yeah, whatever. I filled out the form at record speed before my friend wasn't even done reading. I stood around doing nothing but staring at all the cute jewelry in the display cases. Soon the pack left from the counter and only one was left besides us. A piercer came out, Mr. Derek Lowe. He discussed the piercings in which we were both planning to get. We waited alittle but than wore told to go back into the piercing room. The first went first. She was getting her septum done at 8ga. Derek, my friend and I joked around for abit and taked complete jibberish(which i'm pretty damn good at). Derek told me to shut my yap for 10 minutes. I did and he did the piercing. She completed the task great and got her septum done without crying to much. I was very proud and had a big smile on my face after seeing her cringe as the needle went through. She sat up for a bit than we left out to the lobby.
A whee bit later i was called in for my dermaling. I sat down without any fears since i wasn't thinking about it much. He marked me and as soon as he put the mark on and i felt pressure against my ear my heart beat rose extermely fast. Thoughts rushed through my mind. I thought about canceling the idea of removing a chunk of flesh from my ear but i new it was only going to take a second anyways. We decieded to dermal at a 6ga and than put a 8ga. for some room. He gave me the old "breathe in and breathe out speech". I did and... GAHH! It was the weirdest pain i've ever felt. The pain was cold and lasted longer there most piercings. Not something I want to feel on a regular basis. I got my septum dermaled a few days before and it hurt so bad that I was very dazied and mazy afterwards, but with this piercing i was completely aware of the pain and oh boy it was there. I didn't bleed to much at all. I expected much more. Derek got the captive bead ring with the ball in the conch pretty quickly & smooth. I didn't even notice the insert, which is always a good thing. The blood had cloted everywhere and later then stood up. And signed the little contract.
After my dermaling I bought my friend an arcylic blue septum tusk for her birthday and left. On the way out of the studio while walking to the car my conch got extermely cold. I got in to the car and I was holding my part of the contract in my hand that i get back from getting pierced.. I looked at it closely and I noticed blood was all over it. I thought to myself was this from before and i missed it? I then looked at my friends seat and it had dripped blood all over it. I felt horrible for messing her seat. I went back and got some gauze pads and the of coarse give them to me with no problem and they wished my luck on my way out. Which if you know me is something i need a great deal of when It comes down to mean and piercings. I placed the gauzes against my ear and let the blood colt in my ear the best I could and hoped it would stop dripping down my back. Ugh.
One the way home we decieded to go to a coffee shop and get something to drink. So we went there got our food and the reactions of the peoples faces were beautiful. I felt bad though because I can understand where they were coming from. I'm a pretty gross kid.
I've had pretty bad luck with ear piercings but i feel if i just don't touch it enough and use olive oil if i see any odd scar tissue formations than i should be fine. Wish me luck.
