Painless tongue piercing

I don't even know how I got it into my head to pierce my tongue - I'd had my ears done twice and ended up taking and leaving both out after a head X-ray (broken jaw), and then for some reason I went straight to this. I always thought it looked cool and might be entertaining to fiddle with in my perpetual ADD boredom (honestly nothing dirty was a motivation for me). I heard so many horror stories about tongues swollen to grotesque sizes, inability to talk or eat, having to sleep sitting up... I told my friend C, who ... read more

My tragus experience.

So basically I had wanted to have this done since i was about fifteen years old. Back then i assumed I would need parental consent, something i KNEW my parents would never allow. Piercings in their eyes are for uncouth individuals and certainly not for their only daughter. Once I had reached eighteen and left home for University i just assumed i was too much of a geek to do something so reckless. Time passed and before I knew it I was twenty. I knew I wanted to get it done before my twenty first birthday and April is obviously ... read more

My New Piercing

About 3 years ago, I knew I had a love for piercings. At 13, I loved tattoos, 14, scarification, implants.. awesome.. At 15, now, I would love to be part of the body modification world. Looking through pictures on "Extreme Body Mods" I came across a picture of a smiley, Instantly, I was in love. I loved the idea of it being near enough hidden, unless you smile or laugh.. Your little secret piercing.. I was desperate for one. Having had 3 piercing kits before, I rathered someone with more experience than a 15 year old to do it. Begging ... read more

My favorite piercing!

After months of wanting my tongue pierced, I finally decided to get it done. I had researched tongue piercings for a couple of weeks and the pros outweighed the cons. I had gotten my tragus pierced at a tattoo/piercing shop about five months before but the place I went to was kind of sketchy so I wanted to find a different establishment to get my tongue piercing at. I had heard through a couple of friends that Pour Boiz was a really great place for tattoos and piercings because the employees really know what they are doing. A friend of ... read more

My second and third DIY piercings!

Last month I wrote about my very first DIY piercing experience (which was my right cartilage) and now I am back to write about my newest piercings! You can read my first story here: http://www.bme.com/pierce/01-ear/A91102/earmyver.html. My name is Sarah and I am 16 years old. I have a total of 10 piercings, which include: first lobes, second lobes, third lobes (what this story is about), right tragus, left cartilage, right cartilage and bellybutton. Last week I was sitting in my math class (again) talking to my two friends. We started talking about piercings and my friend (not the same one ... read more

my first true love - homemade spiderbites!

The first time I saw snakebites I was about thirteen (I think!!) and at first I thought "ewww, gross that must have been so painful!" but as I started to see more and more of them I began to think "hmmm, maybe they're not so bad, maybe they're cool" then I actually began to really like them. However I always wanted original piercings and snakebites (where I live anyway) were really common. So when I was doing more research on the internet and I came across spiderbites I instantly fell in love with them. I am only fifteen so I ... read more

Diary of a tongue piercing

When I was seventeen, I wanted to get my tongue pierced. So I researched it, put some tongue bars in my wishlist at bodyjewelleryshop.com, went to a piercing studio and had my tongue checked. I was told I had too many veins. If I was pierced, I wouldn't stop bleeding. Broken hearted, I left the studio, emptied my wishlist at bodyjewelleryshop.com, and deleted my saved web pages. That should be the end of the story, yes? Well...no. Otherwise, this diary wouldn't exist. I got my tongue web pierced. I liked it, of course I did. The experience is on Bmezine ... read more

My lobe story. From nothing to 44mm in a year.

I've stretched my ears off and on three times since I was fourteen. I'm now nineteen. The reason that it was 3 times, instead of one solid slow consistent stretch with tape was mostly due to age. Being stupid, fourteen, and using cheap silicone tunnels. I just wish that someone would have told me how to correctly stretch, before I ripped my lobes multiple times. So, I let them heal, and as one closed completely, the other lobe had so much scar tissue after a 5/8 to 3/4 silicone dead stretch, no more damage could be done. A little over ... read more

Stretching with Tape Saved My Life

Well, I might be exaggerating a bit, but by using the taping method, it really has helped me with my stretching in the long run. But before I tell you about my experience that day, I might as well give you a little history on my stretching experiences up until now. I got my lobes pierced at an 8g and a pair of seconds at a 10g at Infinite Body on, South street, in Philadelphia, by Clay. I only intended on stretching the bottoms as I was going to put regular earrings in the seconds (obviously I had no idea ... read more

My snakebite lip piercings!

I started liking the idea of 'possibly' getting a piercing... I thought the septum and lip were cool but decided that lip was the one I liked the most. I'd check out the BME website from time to time and decided I really wanted to get my lip pierced on the side. I had talked about it with one of my best friends who had had a lip piercing before; which he later took off and closed up, but he said he wanted to get it re-pierced. I thought, great! We can go together one of these days and check ... read more
