That eBay seller sure sucks (my ear stretching journey)

It first started around July 2009, when two of my friends and I went with one other of our friends to get his ear pierced. Obviously, I was persuaded to do it along with him. We went to a Vietnamese salon in the AAA mall near the shadier part of Brampton. Yes, I now know I'm not supposed to, but I got it done with a gun. I suggest nobody else do the same. I had always thought about stretching my ears, as they've intrigued me since I saw my sister get them when she was in grade eight. I ... read more

My New Piercing

About 3 years ago, I knew I had a love for piercings. At 13, I loved tattoos, 14, scarification, implants.. awesome.. At 15, now, I would love to be part of the body modification world. Looking through pictures on "Extreme Body Mods" I came across a picture of a smiley, Instantly, I was in love. I loved the idea of it being near enough hidden, unless you smile or laugh.. Your little secret piercing.. I was desperate for one. Having had 3 piercing kits before, I rathered someone with more experience than a 15 year old to do it. Begging ... read more

Collarbone Microdermals

I've been interested in the body modification world for years now, I've always enjoyed getting piercings. I've had quite a few piercings before getting these, mostly minor ones. I've had my lip done three times, but the other piercer placed it wrong and it migrated to the point that I just took it out. I've also had my smiley pierced a few times along with four earlobe piercings with one set gaged to 2. Along with my cartilage twice. Overall I believe im thoroughly addicted to getting pierced, and I have plans for a whole set of about eight Micros. ... read more

Lucky 13

Here I am, with a shitfaced grin, a bottle of 91% isopropyl alcohol, a piercing needle, and an eyebrow ring. No, I am not drunk, the shitfaced grin is just in anticipation of what I am about to do. I have brushed my teeth, drank a bunch of water, eaten, washed my whole face with rubbing alcohol, put the kid I was babysitting to bed, and sat here reading about the supraorbital nerve (the nerve that is the reason that countless web pages and people and such say don't pierce your eyebrow unless you're a trained professional, cause if you ... read more

boyfriend saliva, just what a new piercing needs.

Now, I'm not one of those people that has always wanted a belly button ring. I used to think they were trashy, the equivalent of a tramp stamp, until me and my boyfriend were talking about piercings. He really wanted his lip done (one year later, and he still wants it), and I realized that I'm blessed with a flat tummy, why not accentuate it? At this time I had a bunch of self done ear piercings (4 lobes in each ear, and two cartilage-OW!) and my nose stud, so I didn't have anything to compare the pain of a ... read more

Simple Earlobes, Right And Wrong

I've loved stretched ear lobes since the first time I saw them, it's so much more personal because of the patience it takes to get there, rather than seeing all the people who went to Claire's for their 18g. I decided to get my start and have them pierced. At first, I went on the recommendation of a friend to another studio in Calgary besides Tribal Expression. I had been to Tribal for my labret and loved the experience there, but it is pricey; this was my first wrong. If you're going to mod your body in any way, even ... read more

my first true love - homemade spiderbites!

The first time I saw snakebites I was about thirteen (I think!!) and at first I thought "ewww, gross that must have been so painful!" but as I started to see more and more of them I began to think "hmmm, maybe they're not so bad, maybe they're cool" then I actually began to really like them. However I always wanted original piercings and snakebites (where I live anyway) were really common. So when I was doing more research on the internet and I came across spiderbites I instantly fell in love with them. I am only fifteen so I ... read more

Sixteen 18g surface piercings, one corset.

I like to jump into scary new things and then deal with the consequences. This generally works out in my favor. Sometimes, I get in over my head; sometimes, it's a successful new experience that I'm proud to have gone through. A sixteen-point corset, done for a photo shoot, was fortunately the latter. I had traveled to Kansas City, Missouri this November 2009 to shoot and hang out with awesome photographers and models. One of the models is a most kick-ass professional piercer: Heather LeStabbityDeath, who pierces at Lasting Impressions in Des Moines, Iowa. I had idly said that in ... read more

My tragus experience.

So basically I had wanted to have this done since i was about fifteen years old. Back then i assumed I would need parental consent, something i KNEW my parents would never allow. Piercings in their eyes are for uncouth individuals and certainly not for their only daughter. Once I had reached eighteen and left home for University i just assumed i was too much of a geek to do something so reckless. Time passed and before I knew it I was twenty. I knew I wanted to get it done before my twenty first birthday and April is obviously ... read more

My Chelsea Smile

I've been into body mods for quite some time now. When I was eight, I went with my (much) older sister to get her first tattoo, and I was hooked. After much begging and bargaining, my mother allowed me to get my first piercing when I was 15. I got an off center labret, which was not very common at the time. Over the past several years, everyone I see has a lip piercing, and I got frustrated. I hate seeing someone with the same things as me, whether it's a T-shirt or a piercing. After several tattoos and other ... read more
