My journey from an 18G through a 0G!!!

Hello All! Well my journey into ear stretching started a few months ago! I have always wanted to, but never got around to. My reasoning behind it is that it looks cool, the culture roots behind it, and I love the jewelry plain and simple. I decided to go to Claires at a local mall, got gunned, I wouldn't recommend the gun when it comes to initial ear piercing (go to a tattoo shop). I let the piercing heal for 6 weeks then sized up to an 18G (1mm) ring. That stretch was easy, not a big difference at all. ... read more

My lip scalpelling

Well it first started when I saw some of these large labrets and I decided I wanted one so bad. I researched it for ages I finally decided to have it scalpelled so it wouldn't take long instead of stretching it and so on. I spoke to a guy I'd heard about called Quentin Inglis from Kalima. He's a really nice guy and I spoke to him at least once a week for a long time and got to know him and he got to know me. I asked loads of things then finally he said come down and see ... read more

Lobe Scalpelling to Correct Placement

A little over a month ago, my ears were scalpelled from the 9mm range to 11mm by John Kid of The Piercing Lounge in Madison, WI. I had been stretching my ears for almost four years at that point, largely without the help of professional piercers (hey kids at home, remember that nine times out of ten, it's better to stretch your own ears!). I had been at my original goal size of 00g (wearing mostly 9-9.5mm plugs) for about two years, but eventually I decided to bite the bullet and move up to 1/2" for two reasons: 1. My ... read more

After years of wanting of. She finally agreed!

So when I was 10 years old I saw my first belly button ring. I immediately told my mom I wanted one, and she immediately turned it down. My mother is more of a conservative person, she thinks that a second hole ear piercing it rebellious, but I was 10 what did I know. The thought always stayed with me however, and when I would bring it up every once in a while, but never really bugged my mom about it. Her word was like law to me when I was younger. Not so much these days, however. At 13, ... read more

Bad Labret experience

Well, I've been wanting to get a labret for years now and finally did it but first I'll tell you how we found the tattoo shop we went to- My fiancé and I heard of this shop the day before Halloween was having $13 dollar piercings. We were very skeptical of this place at first. So we said what the heck we'll go and if it's a hole in the wall, we'll leave. So my fiancé's friend was waiting for a couple of hours when we got there. First impression, It was a nice and clean shop! I'm not new ... read more

Do I dare? I Daith.

Those of you with good memories may remember that two months ago I wrote up my experience getting my snug pierced. I mention this not because I want to give you a detailed follow up right now, but because I fear comparisons between the two experiences are inevitable. So please bear with me. A quick recap: Prior to all this cartilage piercing business I have gotten my nose and belly button pierced and my lobes have two piercings. I also have two failed attempts at a helix and a failed attempt at a third set of holes in the earlobe. ... read more

Oh My, What Is That On Your Chest!?

My name is Joshua, and I am a fifteen-year-old male interested in body modification. Ever since this current year, I have always witnessed and/or seen a number of people have surface piercings done on them. This temporarily got me jealous, for I did not have any surface piercings. Then again, pain did not sound too good. There's this girl named Jenny, Jenny has Clavicle surface piercings. I have never seen anything more beautiful and attractive as her Clavicle piercings. My mind kept screaming "Get them! Get them! You know you want them!" I was very well jealous of her because ... read more

Confronting my fear (inner conch experience)

The past few months have been difficult on me. Ever since I wrote openly about my needle phobia, I've received many encouraging responses. No, you're not crazy. You do need to overcome this, though. It was a common, honest, and truthful response to my rant which would prove to weigh on me for the next few months. After all, I couldn't expect to live the rest of my life and never fall ill or get into an accident which would require medical attention, unless of course my life were to be extremely short and whatever were to kill me would ... read more

An Industrial Sized Horror Story... With a Happy Ending

Ever since I was 13/14ish, I've always wanted an industrial. I mostly saw them on girls, but every time I saw one on a guy, I stared in awe cause they just looked so friggen awesome! I was young at the time though, and didn't want to go and get one since I figured my mom wouldn't be happy with the idea. The idea of me getting one eventually died down over a few years. When I was 17, the summer came and I saw a guy with an industrial. It re-sparked my interest for one. I figured I was ... read more

My Chelsea Smile

I've been into body mods for quite some time now. When I was eight, I went with my (much) older sister to get her first tattoo, and I was hooked. After much begging and bargaining, my mother allowed me to get my first piercing when I was 15. I got an off center labret, which was not very common at the time. Over the past several years, everyone I see has a lip piercing, and I got frustrated. I hate seeing someone with the same things as me, whether it's a T-shirt or a piercing. After several tattoos and other ... read more
