So, my septum piercing. I'd wanted one for a long time but for one reason or another never had it done. At the time (this was in 2007) I had snakebites, a monroe and my tongue pierced and was debating getting my septum done. I finally decided one day that I'd just go ahead and do it. I was with a few friends and we all walked downtown together. The shop is conveniently down the street from my university so I would often see flocks of rebellious kids go in groups to get piercings or tattoos. In any case, I ...

Ever since I was 14, maybe 13, I've wanted my anti-eyebrow done. However, an traumatizing experience, some may find hard to believe, happened to me when I was 12 years old stopped me from wanting anything sharp remotely near my face. My eye was gouged from it's socket by a typical house cat. I have the scars to prove it. I was rushed to the hospital and transferred to a big city hospital an hour away and worked on for 8 hours to save my eye and most of the skin around it. I have my vision back, but a ...

It all started with a boring afternoon. I felt invigorated to get myself a new piercing and I was noticing how easy it was to get a septum pierced. I've never pierced myself before, but I was broke enough to do it now. I bought myself a 14g sterilized hollow needle and got a friend that knew how to make a man push the limit. After 5 minutes of pain and sorrow, I had myself a septum at 16g. I knew it needed some space to relax and didn't take much advantage of the moment, so I let the piercing ...

I love piercing's! I recently decided to get a surface piercing. I decided to get my lower back pierced and my belly button. I had been looking on this web site, bmezine.com and saw that you could get anything pierced that you can pinch basically. The back piercing looked fun and cute so I wanted it! I went to Virginia beach ink in Va beach Va. My friend Jane Rae told me that they were having piercings for sale for only 10 dollars. That included the jewelry and everything. The piercers name is "Shimp". I got my back then my ...

Stretching has been a very long and painful journey for me, and for 7 years worth of work I only had these dinky little 3/4" lobes to show for it. When I decided to move forward from the size I'd been for over 2 years I realised two things: 1. My left ear was thinning at the bottom and 2. I had a blowout and some pretty good sized keloids on my right ear that I felt would make the process more difficult. My first priority was fixing the problems before going any bigger, so I went about looking for ...

Doing UP The Button ~ By February 2009 I had discovered that I had a small addiction to piercing, or was it just to the sparklies that filled the resultant holes. By this time I had three holes in each ear (two cartilage), one in my nose and one in my most special of girly places, all of which I had grown to love and couldn't imagine being without. But as with any family, a new member is always greeted with joy and love and it was time for the birth of my belly button piercing. I was always a ...

It seems to me that many of my modifications have been the cause of some duress, if not later some humorous afterthought. Throughout the lives of many of my piercings, events occur that either put them at jeopardy, cause me some sort of harm, or result in putting me in a bad position. For the most part, I can look back on these experiences and laugh. I have had my nostril pierced for probably a little over three years now. It was my first piercing that really went against my parents' wishes. Previously I had only had my ears and ...

About two years ago I saw a girl on the internet with a bridge piercing. I was very fascinated as I had never seen one of these. At that time I was fourteen and my parents wouldn't let me have any piercing except for my lobes and helix. They told me I'd needed to wait until I was sixteen. It never popped into my head that I could have a bridge piercing myself, for almost a year. When I turned fifteen I begged for piercings but no, and everyday the answer was no. I started to draw dots on my ...

I should start this off with saying I currently have twenty piercings, and have had over forty if you count everything that has been ripped out, taken out, and/or re-pierced. I'm not quite sure what made me decide that I wanted a nape piercing, but I've always seemed to love getting piercings that aren't common, and ones that get comments such as, "WOW, how does that work?!" Anyway, one morning I woke up and decided I wanted to get my nape pierced. I never even considered it before that day. I have long hair and figured it would be constantly ...

About a month ago my dorm mate and I realized that very familiar sensation told us that we needed a new piercing. The last piercings I had gotten were my nape (R.I.P!) and my tragus on my right ear back in late March. Over six months later I knew I could handle another piercing, but what was now the question! After some research here on BME I fell in love with the daith. Oddly enough, Mena (my mate) had tried to convince me to get a daith back in July when I went to get my nape adjusted. The urge ...
