Nape piercing part 2

Ever since I starting visiting my local shop and browsing through the artist's portfolios, I've been in love the look of surface piercings on the nape of the neck. So after considering this modification for awhile, I pulled the trigger while visiting home in 2006. Loving my nape!

I remember when I first saw a nape piercing when I was 18 in college. It initially turned me off and I was grossed out, but I was only interested in more ear piercings and maybe a nose at the time, so that figured. Nape: bane of my existance, love of my life.

After seeing my dear friend walk around the halls of high school with light bouncing off the back of her neck, I knew then I had to get my nape pierced. Nape piercing

Despite always being interested in piercings, apart from my lobes (which I rarely utilise) and a lip piercing which I took out after a week, the only 'real' piercing I had was a tiny gem in my nostril.
