was in 7th grade my brother who I hadn't seen in a year come home, and was sitting next to me at the Dinner table with my whole family. My father was saying grace, and my bro leaned over and said hey Jenn, and he stuck out his tongue, which had this huge stake going through it, I nealy peed on myself, but after that moment I knew that I was going to have to GER PIERCED. It is now October 14, 1998 and I want a piercing I talk my parents into letting me get my naval done. It's ...

ry begins about 2 years ago, I when I was about 15 or 16 and I became facinated with something I had seen on television but never in real life- BODY PEIRCING. I became obessed with it, how it looked , how felt, and how much pain was involved. Well since that time I had decided that my tongue, eyebrow, or my belly button was going to be my first peircing. For those two years, I begged my folx to let me get it done, but of course the answer was always "You'll get an infection," "You'll scar your body ...

Soapbox Disclaimer] I don't believe that one should undertake any body modification lightly. It's not like an ugly dress or ill-fitting pair of jeans that you can toss aside. I've been through the pain and hassle of having a stupid tattoo removed (hey! it was a good idea at the time!?! *smirk*) I learned from that experience, and each new addition must have meaning . Be it ink or metal, I have to live with it, or its residua, forever. It had better symbolise something that I'll recall fondly, forty years from now, in 'the home'. [End Soapbox Disclaimer] I've ...

"Mom,if you say I can't pierce my belly button,I'll do it myself."I say "Fine, you can get it done.I have to go to work.See you at 8:00." ...

start out by saying that I am in a profession that frowns upon piercing with a passion. The United States Air Force. Hey--It pays the bills! Anyway, I'm a 30 year old female with a loving husband and two great kids. I guess it's early-early mid-life or something, but all of a sudden I got this sudden urge to get my navel pierced! It seemed exotic and something that only I had to know about(and my husband of course). But I always chickened out because it didn't seem appropriate(especially since I'm supposed to be a role model to my subordinates...whatever ...

rst of all, if you want to have this done, JUST DO IT. that is my motto. even if you have the parents from hell, remember this, THERE IS ALWAYS A PLACE THAT WILL DO IT,(even if you are underage). i went on the boardwalk at seaside heights, and all they were looking for was ID, fake ID, real ID, your sisters ID (which was what i used), and they would do it, happily. they are all awesome down there, and incredibly funny, and nice. ANYWHO- just do it. hide it, show it, flaunt it, whatever. My personal expierence was ...

13 at the time and I really so badly wanted my belly button pierced so me and my friend (who shall remain nameless! because she'd kill me for calling her a wuss basically!) thought about it and decided our olds wouldn't let us get it done so we wouldn't even bother to ask them and decided to do it ourselves (Uh oh!) besides what the hell, it would be cheaper to do this way, anyway, I went to my freezer and I got the ice brought it back upstairs, locked my bedroom door and put it against my skin and ...

my whole naval piercing experience started when me and a few of my friends went in to get our ear piecred again with 2 more holes in each ear. After we got that done my best friend started talking about how much she wanted to get her naval pierced. I had never actually thought about it, but at the time it sounded pretty good to me. She is a grade ahead of where she should be so she isnt 18 yet like I am. So therefore she couldn't go get it done. I just kept getting more and more pumped ...

ever since I was 11 (last year), I have seen people about with navel piercings. I thought "hey, that's cool!", And started to think about getting it done. I asked my mum, and she didn't mind, but at age 11, I looked like I was 14, which was still not old enough. I gave up on that, and made up my mind to have it done when I am 13. But as I saw more and more people with it done, I realised gow popular it was becoming. There wouldn't be a day that I'd go out shopping and not ...
