The story of my beautiful end product: A beautifully straight, healed navel bar: I decided I really wanted my navel pierced, being a 15 year old girly girl who really wanted a dangly belly bar. Much like many of the people's stories here at BME, my parents also did not want me to get my belly button pierced. Actually, they didn't want anything pierced on my body unless it was my ear lobes, and those were already once done. I've had my belly pierced for about 6 years now. When I originally decided to get it done, I didn't really think of any use it may have or even a real reason for getting it other than it was a piercing and I wanted it.
