Mapping the Face

I've been through enormous changes in the past year, and I've been without modification for that same length of time - moving temporarily to the US from Canada and living on a small stipend doesn't allow for a lot of extra 'movement' when it comes to financial shuffling, and I couldn't justify living on bread and water for a month in order to get the ink or piercing I craved. And then, late in January, the Alberta government finally mailed four hundred dollars to each and every one of its citizens. Mine mostly went towards food and other household supplies, ... read more

First Face Piercing- Eyebrow Ring

I've wanted my eyebrow pierced since I was about thirteen years old but my parents had this crazy rule that I couldn't pierce anything on my face, heaven forbid it prevent me from getting a job. The rule was null and void on my eighteenth birthday or when I moved out. I really think it was incentive to get me out of the house. Anyway, in July (2004) I decided it was time to do it, with my eighteenth birthday being a month away and I was moving away to go to college. I had just gotten paid and the ... read more

Another hole in my face

I started to think about doing my eyebrow ages ago, but I was only on a project and employment with facial piercing is not always easy thing to get! So I just shoved the idea to the back of my head. I finally got a stable job in a call center and their dress code gives me freedom over visible modifications. I know what I've done is not the best thing to do... yet I cannot change the past. This should only be read for the information. Please don't do this at home... you might not be as lucky as ... read more

The most painless thing in my entire life

Like many people on this website, I've always been infatuated with piercings and tattoos. I have my first lobe piercings before I could even walk, a second set at the age of 12, and a third set at 15. However, these were all done with the infamous piercing guns at your local Piercing Pagoda, Claire's, and Wal-Mart, respectively, causing slow healing and even some irritation even to this day. I've never been stuck with a needle before, besides your typical medical shots, sewing accidents, and minor surgeries. So, naturally, anyone would be nervous if they spontaneously decided on a facial ... read more

pierce his tongue... no WAIT! and my eyebrow!

As a college freshman I may have gotten a little addicted to piercing. First semester I got: My tongue pierced My Industrial A Tattoo And my brow pierced I had always wanted to get "pierced up" but I had restrictive parents who would not allow for anything to be pierced at all. College just seems the perfect time to do all that. Second semester of college had rolled around and I had found myself with a new roomie; my old one moved out, so I moved my friend in. My friend had wanted to get his tongue pierced for a ... read more

Pain Relief

I'd been toying with the idea getting my horizontal anti-eyebrow done for about a year and half, before I finally summoned up the courage and went last friday. I just finished healing my tongue, so I was itching for another piercing- I'm sure many of you know the feeling. Sara had done my last three (tongue and both nipples) of six (labret, nose, belly-button) piercings, and I'd be hard pressed to go to another piercer ever again. Every time I've gone in now she's been so friendly and informative. Good prices too ;) hehe. I was really nervous because I'd ... read more

My Short-lived Eyebrow Piercing

Well to start off, I'm 15 now but I was 14 when I got my eyebrow pierced. Before I got it done, I had no facial piercings at all. The only piercings I had were in my ear lobes, both had a 00g tunnel and 6g bar bell next to them. I was always arguing with my mom to let me get my eyebrow or my lip, and finally I got her to say yes to the eyebrow. All I had to do was stop stretching my ears, which I agreed to do (but I didn't really stop, I just ... read more

My relationship with a standard eyebrow piercing.

My piercing experience has all the qualities of a normal relationship that one would have with a significant other. Previously, the only piercings that I was brave enough to get have been ear piercings (I currently have 5 holes in each ear). However, I began to get tired of these and wanted to try something different. I decided to get my eyebrow pierced, which was something that I had always wanted to do. Phase 1 of our relationship: Curiosity So I started by doing a little research about eyebrow piercing. Mostly just general stuff about the safety of them and ... read more

My beautiful first piercing

Hey, you don't me, and I don't know you, but you are obviously here to either read something interesting about eyebrow piercing (doubtful) or you are interested in one yourself. I had always wanted a piercing since I was 10 or so, but it took coming to Germany for me to get the guts up to do it. I was always afraid of the pain. Another problem was me deciding exactly what I wanted, because I didn't want to get a piercing that I wouldn't like later on in life, even thought I could take it out. I wanted to ... read more

Good Idea, Bad Idea

I've had my fair share of problems with piercings. I've had my industrial pierced with a barbell that was too short. (It didn't reject because I realized what the problem was and replaced the bar, after which it healed like a dream). I've had nipple piercings reject because I was wearing a bra that was too small (Ladies: Get measured!) and it was catching and rubbing on the fresh piercings and I've rejected an eyebrow piercing twice. My left eyebrow grows a little funny at the bend, and it had been, aesthetically speaking, the best place to get a vertical ... read more
