Building a bridge and getting over it

I am a piercing fanatic, I love piercing myself (which I do with the proper equipment and everything). Bridge piercings to me have always been very interesting but I never thought myself to get one because my nose is slightly crooked, until I found myself making an appointment at Flesh Wound in Wellington one day last week. I wouldn't have done it myself because if it's not done properly it can reject and I'd probably do it really crooked. The following week me, my boyfriend, our 9 week old daughter, Emily, Ashleigh and Yvette, who had also made an appointment ... read more

Bridge piercing at oasis, sorted out at blue banana!

I'd wanted a bridge piercing for a few months before finally going to get it done. None of my friends really liked the idea, but I was pretty set on getting this addition to my face. I must have been into oasis about five times before I decided that if I kept putting it off, I'd just keep regretting not getting it done. So about a month ago, I went into town determined not to chicken out! I went to get something to eat, and then me and my friend made our way to oasis indoor market. When we got ... read more

believe your piercer

I was impatient. Since I got my tongue pierced, I was craving that adrenaline rush again. I had carefully planned out that, I was going to get a horizontal barbell. Well, after some drama, and that adrenaline feeling not going away. I took my last 100 bucks, and made an appointment to get two vertical barbells. Excited after booking the appointment, I was talking to a friend on messenger, and he asked who the piercer was. I said his name, and he did the laugh out loud thing, and then told me some stories about the piercer that he had ... read more

My Very First Piercing, One of Many to Come

I had wanted an eyebrow ring for about a year. After I graduated college, I realized I would soon have to find a real job, a career. That meant that my time for experimenting and having fun with my looks would soon be over. I knew I had to go ahead and get my eyebrow pierced now, so that by the time came to start interviewing for jobs I would be able to take out my eyebrow ring or wear a retainer. Although, realistically, I probably will not have to worry about a conservative workplace; I graduated in Radio/TV/Film! While ... read more

My first facial piercing.

So about two days ago i was visiting some friends in San Diego. I had just turned 18 this last October and have always been interested in piercings (especially facial). I knew I was going to get one soon, but what? I was deciding between my septum and a lip piercing. I knew i wanted to get an eyebrow piercing though, that was a given.I decided the safest facial piercing at this point was my eyebrow, it's hard for the piercing to look bad on someone, and I didn't think the pain would be horrific. Me and my friend Mer ... read more

My first facial piercing

Hello all. My name is Eman and I recently got my very first facial piercing. I had my right eyebrow done with just a standard barbell. I have always liked the look of a eyebrow piercing and found it to be very sexy and interesting on both males and females. I'm a 25 year old male who works in the medical field so at first it wasn't a very good and professional option. I was also scared that going in and out of the hospital and often wearing mask's or head caps would irritate the new piercing and have a ... read more

My first piercing (Eyebrow)

I originally planned to get my lip pierced but I decided against it because my friend said I would not suit my lip pierced but I could suit an eyebrow piercing, I had not thought of having my eyebrow pierced because my lip was kind of a rash decision but I thought, hey that would look good! So I phoned up the nearest piercing establishment I knew off and asked if they could do an eyebrow piercing but I was told that I would have to wait because the piercer was taken a break. A few weeks past and then ... read more

my anti-brow learning experience

So, me and my friends are piercing buffs. I got all the stuff to pierce online, needles, clamps, etc. I want to eventually be a piercer myself, and who else to practice on than myself and my friends? I've always loved the look of the anti-brow, I saw it once on tv and ever since then i've been wanting one. I debated on it for about a year and a half, because I know that my family would NOT approve. But then, I got my labret, eyebrow and nose done, so I figured one more piercing, even if its not ... read more

Eyebrow Date

I've always really loved the appearance of the vertical eyebrow piercing, but have been too afraid of it. Seriously, look at it. That has GOT to hurt, right? Especially for me, because piercers have always told me I have "the perfect eyebrows for piercing", which, with any body part of mine that is "the perfect (insert body part here) for piercing", translates directly into: "This is going to hurt like a mudder fugger. How about a nice long swim in a pool of molten lava to take your mind off of the pain?" Well, I finally gave in to my ... read more

Bridge of Doom

Yeah, so I got my bridge done for the first time about 4 years ago, and it looked ok, but after about a year and a half (maybe a little longer), I took it out. I loved my bridge, and it was probably one of my favorites that I had at the time, but I took it out because I was really sick for about two weeks (just like the flu or something) and my head would not quit hurting around my eyes, so after a week of pain, I decided to take my bridge piercing out, and surprisingly enough, the ... read more
