Eyebrow + helix

So a couple days ago I decided to head into Planet Ink in Ottawa for a couple new piercings. They have a 2 for $85 deal which I obviously had to take advantage of. I think on Wednesdays it's 2 for $65 but I'm not from Ottawa and I was only going to be there for a few days so I just took what I could get. I went in on a Sunday at like 11 am, and to my surprise the piercer was in and available. In my hometown we have one tattoo parlor and the piercer is only ... read more

Crossing a Bridge

It was about time to get yet another piercing added to my little collection. After some cranky healing time for my inverse navel (which still is having issues), the piercing bug bit me yet again. This time I wanted a vertical philtrum, yummy! My mind was so set, I told myself friday I would do it! However, after a long day at Wonderland and my piercer closing at 8, it wasn't looking too well so... Saturday! So Saturday, May 26th came around and I slept over at my friend Kat's the night before. She's a fanatic like me so I ... read more

Bridge piercing and ABBA

I got my first ‘real’ piercing when I was fourteen- a 16g CBR in my right nostril. My earlobes were done at an age I can barely remember, in a hair salon, with a piercing gun- something I firmly and knowledgeably advocate against now. All I remember from the ear piercing situation is extreme pain and tender, pussy earlobes for months afterward (seven year olds can’t keep up a proper cleaning regime, and butterfly backs are not conducive to a bacteria free zone). And what I remember from my nostril is the amount of attitude my mother and I got ... read more

whoopdedo a bridge

So this is the story of my bridge piercing. It starts in January of 2010. I had just gotten my first piercings [nips] and started my journey with the needle. I became infatuated with piercing, soaking up any information I could, and spending LOTS of time on BME. In January I had my nipples done and soon after my vertical philtrum and inversed vertical labret. I knew what the next step was in completing my facial project: The Bridge. Well, after about 2 & 1/2 months, a best friend, Rachel, surprised us all with a visit. She had been gone ... read more

My Eyebrow <3

I had gotten my center labret pierced during my trip to Nova Scotia in November, and I loved it. I loved the thought of it, i loved my piercer (who was recommended to me by a friend and her very pierced older sister) i loved the process, i loved how it looked - everything. And anyone who has a piercing says the same thing, they're addictive. So when I got back home (to Newfoundland) I immediately started checking out different piercings, and figuring out which one would look best on me. For my next trip in April (I have to ... read more

The Story Of My Bridge

I had never really loved piercings until around May this year when I went for my first piercing ever, which was my septum. Between May and July I got my septum, industrial, daith, eyebrow and smiley pierced. After that I left the piercings for a few months. But after a while I started getting the urge to get another piercing. I was about to go on a 2 week holiday to New Caledonia so I thought this would be the perfect time to get another piercing since I wouldn't have work for another 2 weeks. The question was, "what to ... read more

Eye gouge and a needle to top it off

Ever since I was 14, maybe 13, I've wanted my anti-eyebrow done. However, an traumatizing experience, some may find hard to believe, happened to me when I was 12 years old stopped me from wanting anything sharp remotely near my face. My eye was gouged from it's socket by a typical house cat. I have the scars to prove it. I was rushed to the hospital and transferred to a big city hospital an hour away and worked on for 8 hours to save my eye and most of the skin around it. I have my vision back, but a ... read more

My gorgeous bridge

About two years ago I saw a girl on the internet with a bridge piercing. I was very fascinated as I had never seen one of these. At that time I was fourteen and my parents wouldn't let me have any piercing except for my lobes and helix. They told me I'd needed to wait until I was sixteen. It never popped into my head that I could have a bridge piercing myself, for almost a year. When I turned fifteen I begged for piercings but no, and everyday the answer was no. I started to draw dots on my ... read more
