Getting my septum pierced

P>I've got a bunch of piercings, but my absolute favourite is my lovely septum-piercing. It's such a beautiful piercing and whatever jewelry I wear in it, be it a keeper, thus hiding the piercing from the public, or tusks, causing heads to turn on the street, it empowers me and makes me feel unique and strong. Having my septum pierced was for me a way of reclaiming myself and proving to myself and everyone else that I'm in control. I've always thought it was a cool piercing that made people look powerful in a way. Seeing pictures of african tribesmen ... read more

septum experience @ passage

had been planning to get my septum pierced literally the moment I turned legal for about 2 years. That's why it was such an amazing shock when my father finally consented to it. The one condition was that I get over a 90% average at math in summer school. Apparently my conservative father hadn't noticed I was a math wiz! So, in the last week of July I went down to pick up my report card. Let me just say I was a "little" bit nervous. Well after listening to my math teacher for 10 minutes telling me not to ... read more

septum experience @ rings of desire

When I was in high school, a girl I knew had a septum ring. She showed me how she could flip it into her nostrils and allowed me to lightly tug on it. The stretchy resistance from her nose was intoxicating. The exotic image of the septum ring remained filed in my memory, but it was not until college that this image would be translated to my own flesh. As a college freshman I had the ubiquitous pierced tongue and craved more. I had intense dreams in which my septum was pierced, and upon awakening, would be inevitably hit with ... read more

g src="septum.jpg" align=right> This was my first stabbing in Chicago. (I moved last Saturday) I had wanted this stabbing ever since I was 15 years old. I knew I would get it as soon as I was on my own. I've heard success stories as well as horror stories. "It was the worst pain I ever felt in my life... bla blah blah" So today I went to The Alley (around the north part of downtown) I spoke to the girl at the counter and she said the peircer will be there in about fifteen minutes. So I walked around ... read more

Female septum (and then I got sick!)

I had been planning on getting my septum pierced for a couple months, but I just couldn't get up the nerve to do it. I recently had my nipples pierced (well, about a month ago) and I've heard they hurt more. My friend Mia called me last Saturday (10/31....Halloween Day) and asked me if I wanted to go to Venice with her and a friend. I went with them and as we were walking a guy with a LOT of facial piercings came up to us and commented on our earrings. (I have 10 on my left ear, and she ... read more

Female septum @ kingpin

I'd never thought in a million years that I would get a septum piercing. The first time I ever saw one was probably a few years ago and I thought it was the ugliest thing. I couldn't imagine why anyone would want to get a "bull ring" (of course at the time, I didn't know about barbells, spikes, etc.) Even later on after I got my first "real" piercing (my tongue), my mom remarked to me, "you'll never get one of those nose rings, will you?" and of course I reassured her that I wouldn't. Then as I started learning ... read more

A love for piercing and septum stretch

have always been interested in piercing. I think that the idea of having a hole through a body part is fascinating. But I don't think piercings on guys look good. Neither does my parents. So, having a piercing with a ring has never been an option for me. This haven't stopped me from piercing myself. I started to pierce myself when I was about 13 years old. I started with my earlobes. After noticing how easy it was and how little it hurt I continued up my ears. But because my parents would go nuts if they new that I ... read more

septum pierce and stretching

got my septum pierced about a year ago to mark a new time in my life once i dropped out of school. i had always thought septum rings looked great and felt like i was finaly doing something for myself insted of someone else. kinda sounds cheesy, but it made sense to my 16 year old mind and meant alot to me. it was my first pierceing anywhere, even before my lobes. i got it pierced at 14 gauge and it barely hurt at all. the sharpness of the pain was quite suprising though. i loved the way it looked ... read more

Septum @ Camden Chameleon

first piercing was a reverse PA. I've had that for about 6 and a half months now, and have stretched up from 12 ga. to 6 ga. (See: "Stretching Exercises" in reverse PA experiences). About a month ago I made an appointment with my piercer to get my septum done. I called Megan at Camden Chameleon here in Bellingham, WA and arranged to come in that afternoon. Since I'd already been through this before, my biggest concerns were fitting it into my busy day, and how well I'd be able to hide it once it was done. I got there ... read more

Soma's Piercings

have four holes in each ear, three I had done with a gun, and one that I pierced myself with a disposable gun. I would suggest these nifty little disposable guns for anyone interested in piercing (the lobe only!!) themselves. I don't know about anyone else, but I can tolerate much more pain if I inflict it on myself... Back to my ears. I suggest the gun because when I pierced myself with a needle, I ended up with one hole in front and two in back, and schitzophrenic piercings are never fun. As far as my own experiences with ... read more
