For as long as I could remember I had always liked the look of nose piercings. I loved the way the little gems sparkled on the noses of the indian girls in my class, and I always thought they looked so beautiful. When I turned 17 and the desire for a hole in my nose had grown almost unbearable, I took the plunge and booked an appointment to have my nose pierced at a local spa. Several of my friends had gone there and so I thought it must be a reputable enough location. When my parents found out they ...

I'm not sure why I have always been interested in piercing...And a paradox is I don't even like jewelery much and only wear a neckless and a couple of rings. I had my ears pierced a few months after I was born and it was painful for years. I used to cry a lot when I had to remove and clean the studs... but suddenly, around 13 years old, I showed interest in having a few more ear piercing done. Eventually, at the end of the summer, I had added three holes in each ears and I was quite proud ...

It had been several years since I last got a piercing, and while I had been considering getting my nose done for about a year, the fact is, I'm a coward. I don't handle pain well. So I had been putting it off, but I was sick of admiring other people's piercings. I wanted more of my own, dammit! I'd survived the pain before, when I had my labret pierced, so I knew that I could go through with it. When it came down to it, I was just procrastinating. I realised earlier this year after visiting the dentist that ...

The September of my first year of university I wanted to get my nose pierced. At the time, I had three lobe piercings in each ear, my belly button had been pierced, but was not healing well at all, and I had both nipples pierced too, with no problems. I felt comfortable going to Cottage 13 for my nose because my nipple piercings were so easy to heal. I made an appointment at Cottage 13, a short bus ride from my parent's house, and went to get my nose pierced by myself. On the bus ride there, I was getting ...

I have loved and lost many piercings over the years for one reason or another and am always on the lookout for piercings that are new and exciting to me. I was at a friend's gig last Friday night and quite randomly I thought to myself "I want my septum pierced!" Honestly I had never considered a septum piercing for myself and had actually said in the past that was the one mod I wouldn't get. I had thought it seemed too much for little ol' me! However after my revelation I told my friend (who is also a professional ...

I've been interested in piercings for years. Like many 14 year olds I couldn't wait until I was 18 and could get what piercings I wanted without parental consent. I was totally jealous of other people in my school who got lip and ear piercings under 18. I freaked out one of my friends when she got a side labret, I went with her and I was more excited about it than she actually was! I guess I was quite sad when I was younger... :P . The most I got until I was 17 and got a labret, was ...

Since a very young age, I have been infatuated with piercings. I am not sure why, but being able to decorate your body fascinated me. naturally my parents have always been against any piercings, other than the standard single hole in each earlobe. my rebellion began in 5th grade. this is a very clear memory. I had wanted to put a second hole in one of my ears, so one day, I sat on my bed and rammed an earring stud through my ear. pop! it went in. when my dad drove me to school the next morning, I covered ...

Ok. So if you've read this, and seen I'm 14, and are shocked, don't be. I'm a lot more mature than most 14 years old and have wanted this piercing for two years! So don't judge me. Well, it started out today when I met a friend for some lunch. I had mentioned to her that I needed some more needles because I had none left after piercing some friend's cartilage. So, as a surprise, she got me some. They were cannular, not what I'm used to, but I figured it'd be nice to learn how to use them and get ...

I'm 20 years old and I've had my septum pierced for 2 years now. Since then I have had multiple piercings, but you never really forget your first piercing experience. I'm usually a spur of the moment person but, oddly enough, I put a lot of thought in to what body modifications I want. I got my septum pierced the day I turned 18 years old. I was your average teenage idiot and wanted to get something that I could hide from my parents and work. My mom said if I was to live in her house I wasn't aloud ...

Before I got my nose pierced, my only experience with body mods was getting my ears pierced when I was three. Needless to say, I did not remember much about that experience so I was a bit nervous about the whole thing. At the time I was only 17, and it took a bit of convincing for my parents to let me do it. I basically mentioned that this would be my only body mod, or else if they didn't let me do it I might go crazy when I turned 18 and get a tattoo on my face, so ...
