I decided one day that I must be cursed. This is because my mind and heart adore body modifications, piercings especially, yet my body seems to detest them!! I've wanted a facial piercing for over 3 years now, not knowing which one i wanted to get. Initially i wanted snakebites, then my nostril, then back to snakebites. This septum piercing wasn't exactly planned. I woke up that day, knowing I wanted a piercing. I decided on a tongue web. Well, I have been a huge fan of septum piercings for a few years now, but had read quite a few horror stories on them and how much they 'kill'. I think I finally decided to just go for it after I had both my nipples pierced, as that wasn't as bad as I previously had thought it would be. Six months ago, I got my septum pierced for the second time. I had a very clear goal: I wanted it to be large enough to wear several tiny 16g rings in one hole. I thought 10g would be a nice goal, large enough for two rings, and figured my very experienced piercer would be able to do that easily. However, I was only able to have it pierced at 14g.
