Tantalizing Tongue Trip

Warning: If you are going to do it yourself, be sure to have all of the proper equipment and do massive amounts of research on what you're piercing so you avoid major veins and whatnot. And if you feel as though you can't complete it, don't even bother starting it. My best friend Amz and I are talking like always. And she reminded that we were to both get our tongue pierced as a bonding moment. She goes on to tell me that our other friend Shantell has already gotten her tongue pierced a week ago. That initially set my ... read more

Spur of the Moment

I should off by saying I could never see myself getting my tongue pierced. I always imagined it would hurt a lot, didn't care much for the aesthetic, and I already speak like crap without a rod going through my tongue. But over the last few months, I hooked up with a guy with a tongue piercing (among others). No, this isn't about impressing him. More about realizing how sexy it looks (especially when he's being stubborn/ a tease and sticks his tongue out at me), and how good it feels when he uses it on me. I'm usually not ... read more

Slurred Words

For a while now I have always wanted a tongue piercing but either chose to get pierced else where or was to poor to afford it. But tonight, I finally had the money and nothing else I desperately wanted, tonight was my night. The drive to the studio seemed to take forever, I have been looking forward to this for about a week and half now. Then the sign came into view and I knew it was only a matter of minutes until I had a new piercing to add to my ever growing "collection." I walked into the studio ... read more

Tongue piercing in Southampton!

So, I've just moved to Southampton for uni. I'm from Dorset, very near to Bournemouth so I normally go to Sarge at Metal Fatigue or Simon at Forever and Ever. But...I know my mum hates tongue piercings, so I decided to have it done here, so next time she sees me it will be healed and I won't be talking like a spoon! So, me and my boyfriend headed into town. I had done my research on bmezine to see where the best place to go was. Countless people said Millennium and not Asgards. So, off I go! Bear in ... read more

Tongue piercing - replacing my lost tonsils

The Relationship With My Tongue... On December 27th 2007, aged 19, I had one of the most painful operations I'd ever experienced....a tonsillectomy. A lot of you reading this will probably have had your tonsils out at a reasonably young age and wondering what the fuss is all about, and believe me, as you get older, they get bigger and they bloody hurt when they're gone! From aged 7, I'd suffered from Psoriasis – a skin disorder. My immune system sheds my skin every 7 days rather than the regulatory 28 and has left me covered in unsightly red blotches ... read more

Most painful gauging ever.

I've done all but 2 piercings myself. I now have 18 all together. Like most, I started with my ears. After that, my belly button and my tongue. 5 years ago, when I first did my tongue, it didn't hurt or bleed at all. It barely even swelled. When I was about 1, I bit all the way through my tongue. The scar across my tongue was located in the exact right spot to do a tongue piercing. So, I put the barbell through the scar which is why I felt safe about doing it myself. About two years after ... read more

Finally I have my precious!

Hi there! Firstly I want to tell you all that (like almost everyone here) I'm into BM and I'm kind of addicted to them.I have 3 Lobes in each ear, a Tragus, a Navelpiercing and now since last week wednesday a Tongue. Me wanting a tonguering started when I saw Mell B. from the Spice Girls stick out her tongue at a Dutch tv-host when I was about 8 years old.I loved the look of her blinking little ball on top of her tongue and decided that I wanted to get one when my parents agreed and when I was ... read more

What else would I get pierced if i couldn't get my lower belly button

One night I was out with my boyfriend and on the way home I decided that I finally had the guts to get the bottom part of my belly button pierced. We drove by every piercing shop that I had checked out and it was of coarse too late for any of them to be open. I went back to my dorm and to bed very disappointed. The next day I decided there was no way I wasn't going to get pierced that day evan if I had to go on my own. I got lucky and my roomate didn't ... read more

Venomous Experience

I wanted my tongue pierced forever, but what I really wanted was venoms. I first got my tongue pierced in November of 2007, but I got a standard center piercing. In late March, I was in a musical and I fell asleep, and while I was asleep, my tongue ring fell out, and the hole closed up; I couldn't wait to get it pierced again, but this time, I wanted Venoms. I had to wait quite a while, six months, to get my tongue re-pierced, but I finally got around to doing it yesterday. I got up and called my ... read more

Tokyo Souvenir

Allow me to preface this account with the fact that I'm employed as an English teacher in rural Japan. Not only that, but I teach elementary school children, so I knew from the moment I decided to get my venoms that there would be moments of "Sensei, what's that in your mouth?!" and that I could technically be fired for violating school dress codes. I was in Tokyo with friends, shopping in the Harajuku district. I was planning on leaving on an 8 pm train (it was already 2), but when one friend asked if there was anything else I ... read more
