My Tongue Piercing

It wasn't until I realised I was gradually running out of piercings I could actually having without my parents noticing straight away that I came to the idea of having my tongue pierced. I started looking tongue piercings up on the internet; complications, how it's done, etc. I noticed that there was a lisp sometimes and swelling to the point it's painful to eat which worried me slightly as my parents were bound to notice that and get me to take it out before it's healed up. I asked around my friends and came to the same conclusions. This was ... read more

My Long Awaited Tongue Piercing

So I have been interested in piercings since I was 8 or 9 years old. I had always wanted my tongue pierced but my cousins told me it was a sign of sexuality and of being slutty, so I pushed the thought to the back of my mind, until I started getting piercings. Mind you, I did do some of my own piercings myself, of my mom would decide to bring the piercing gun out and attack me:( I nagged and nagged to get my mom to take me to get it done, I even worked 3 part time jobs ... read more

DIY tongue web done on a whim!

So, where to start? I've spent so much time on Bmezine researching body modification and reading other peoples' experiences that it feels rather odd to be writing my own. My first piercing was, as usual, standard-gunned earlobes. After that, I went against my parents' wishes and got a second set of earlobe piercings. (A real rebel, eh?!) I seemed to always have a bit of an interest in body modification, but it had peaked when I met a friend's cousin who had her tongue pierced. I thought she had to be the coolest person on the planet. It looked so ... read more

Tongue still hurts two weeks later... Healing is different for different people!

About three weeks ago, I decided I would get my tongue pierced. I went to HTC, which is where I go to get all of my piercings done. I've had my nose, nipple and one dermal anchor done there. My experience was different from what other people have described. JD, my piercer, had me rinse my mouth with mouthwash. Then, he marked both the top and underside of my tongue. After he had me check the markings in the mirror, he had me lay down on the table. He explained how he was going to do it, and I was ... read more

The Tongue Piercing

It has been about seven months since I've gotten my tongue pierced. It was the day after Christmas and my mom and I had gone to the mall to waste our money on stuff we didn't need. While i was shopping she was getting her hair died and permed. Every now and then I would drop my purchases. Once I was done shopping she was still in there so I stayed for a while. Then I noticed the secretary had her tongue pierced. I had been wanting mine for a while so we started talking about it. She said that ... read more

Sweet Tongue Piercing!!!

Since I was ten years old I've wanted a piercing. I was ready to get my eyebrow pierced for my eleventh birthday but I totally got over it pretty quickly. So I got the idea of me getting a piercing out of my head because I kind of knew that it wasn't going to happen anytime soon. When I went to visit my sister Marie in Quebec for christmas vacation, she was talking about getting her tongue pierced. Which I really wasn't surprized because she's been wanting her tongue pierced for the longuest time ever so I didn't pay much ... read more

Overcoming fear

My first piercing (other than the usual earlobes) was a second lobe piercing that I did myself. Since then, I have gravitated towards letting professionals stick needles in me. I have seven piercings and one tattoo as of now, and I am planning on just a few more. Most recently, I got my tongue pierced in Montreal. I had wanted my tongue pierced for a while, and the only problems were finding a studio in which I felt comfortable while on vacation, and finding the courage to do it. The thought of getting my tongue pierced caused me a certain ... read more

my badass tongue web

[Just a little background information] I've been piercing myself and others for the past two years. All of my piercings are DIY and I don't recommend them unless you have the proper materials. Infections are not a joke. If you're 18 or over, just cough up the cash, you won't regret it! MY piercings and tattoos are hidden because my parents do NOT approve of them. I've had to take many piercings out simply because I knew they'd find out. I tend to do something and not think about the consequences. Not the greatest quality! I was determined to make ... read more

Easiest piercing I've ever had!

Here is my story about my center tongue piercing! About a month ago before I went on vacation I had the idea of getting a new piercing. I wanted to get it done a couple weeks before I went, but my friends wanted to go with me. So exactly three days before I went on vacation I went and got my tongue done! I didn't care about the pain, but for some reason all I was worried about was it swelling and me not being able to breathe. I have a lot of anxiety about breathing. I have asthma, and ... read more

DIY Tongue Piercing

First of all I want to start out by saying that DIY tongue piercing is very, very, very, risky and hitting a vein can cause you to bleed to death. Not to stop anyone who is dead set on doing it themselves, just to say so if your unsure about it don't take any chances. So now that it is mentioned time to go on with my story. Back a long long time ago I really, really, really, wanted my tongue pierced, but I was 16 years old. MY influences came from watching T.V. and seeing how some people had their ... read more
