t was my 20th birthday and I was sitting around feeling sorry for myself and browsing through the pictures on BME to get some ideas for my next piercing, it was a toss-up between a tongue pierce and a tragus. I rounded some friends up for support and headed to the Enchanted Dragon, where I had gotten my nipple and navel pierced, I figured that I could decide there. Well on the drive there one of my friends managed to talk me out of the tongue. I figured that would be a hard one to hide from my parents anyway ...

efore I get started, I want to give a disclaimer. I do not advise anyone to use my methods or time spans when stretching their lobes. I know I went too fast, but I also know my body very well, and these methods workedfor me, without any difficulties that I consider serious. They may not do the same for you. Thank you, drive through }:). With that out of the way, I can get on with my experience. I just recently finished stretching my ear lobes to 1" in slightly over one year. Last year, I decided that the french ...

I have played around with piercing my ears for many years and have had almost every portion pierced at one point or another. This was usually done somewhat temporarily as my preferred method was to just run another safety pin through wherever I felt like having a piercing at the time. Eventually I stopped wearing earrings for awhile because of my increasing involvement in physical activities which made them liabilities (karate, rugby, etc.). This resulted in all but the two oldest and most used holes (one in each lobe) closing up completely. Late in '96 I began to feel that ...

etching/Low Garth Experience This is my stretching/low garth piercing experience: A while back I wanted to change my small silver-ringed ear look. I currently had eight earings up to the top of my cartilage but I thought it needed something else. I slowly put more and more silver sleepers in my lobe piercing, I got up to an eight gauge so I went and bought a proper surgical steel ring. I left that in for quite a while. Later I felt that I wanted to go bigger so that I could have a visible flesh tunnel in place of the ...

e Stretching Experience My name is Deborah and I got interested in body piercing/modification after my second year at Purdue University. My first piercing was my nose, which I no longer have (didn't really like the way it looked). I now have my nipples, tongue and navel pierced. After having those done I wanted to try lobe stretching. Most people (your average non-pierced people) thought my piercings were odd enough but the idea of stretching my lobes they could not comprehend (my parents, in particular, thought it was disgusting). But I digress. The point of this essay is to share ...

etching my ears My experience Stretching my ears from 12ga.to 0ga in one month. First off I'd like to say that this isn't something I recommend to anyone. My experience went smoothly, but I knew the risk of blowing my ears out, I chanced it, I was lucky, I know others who weren't. Try this at your own risk, or be smart and don't try it my way. It all started June 2nd, The day I graduated from Catholic high school, after four years of not being able to wear earrings in school (mind you I already had three in ...

Stretcing Update I have 1 1/8 inch holes in my ears. They are very healthy and happy. I will explain how I got them this big so maybe it can give people a few ideas and maybe someone can avoid some of the early mistakes I made. I has taken me about 4 1/2 years or so to get this size so don't rush. I had my ears pierced with a gun (yucky) at age 12. I streched them to a 16g and then a 14g with no problem. I purchaced taper pin from gauntlet to aid in my stretching. ...

di's Tragus story The following is taken verbatim from my co-op's house journal (except for anything in italics). The story was written to be read by my 12 housemates, who were for the most part unfamiliar with bodypiercing at all. I planned for the tale to be unclear as to it's subject until the very end. Try reading it from the perspective of someone who has never heard of piercing before. This was my very first pierce, so I wasn't all that familiar with it myself before I went. My tale of Monday, Jan 2nd (1995) Okay, I showed up ...

Your Lobes Stretching Your Lobes This is just my advice - it's far from gospel truth :) Lobe stretching has been popular in nearly every tribal culture historically, and seems to be picking up in popularity in our anti- bodmod culture. It is very easy to do... (BTW This information pretty much applies to any fleshy tissue stretching.) GETTING STARTED You will need a fully healed, well placed piercing. By well placed I mean that it should be high up enough on the lobe that when stretched the bottom skin won't be thinner than the sides - this can cause ...

gus Experience Back in the summer of '95, I went to visit a friend in Las Vegas who was in the air force. A bucnch of us decided to go to the raceway there, to pass some time. While we were there, there were a bunch of guys sitting on the bleachers right in front of us and one of them had the most unique piercing I had ever seen! Of course I now know that this is a tragus piercing or as he called it a "dragon tongue piercing". I said to everyone there that I was going to ...
