My Right Tragus.

Well hey there. :) As a lot of kids my age (I am thirteen right now, turning fourteen on October thirteenth) my mom is strict on the piercings I get right now and I can not explain to her how cute it will work or anything. So I always have to do them myself. I use to be able to pierce anything on my body but lately I have not had all that much guts so when I do pierce things on me, it's not some stupid thing I've just thought I'd do. I look up a lot before I ... read more

My Industrial - I’m the worlds biggest cry-baby

I'm the worlds biggest cry-baby... About two months after getting my tongue pierced, I decided it was time for another piercing. My tongue went so well, and I love it, but it's kinda lonely. This time I decided to talk it over with my Mum because she kind of flipped out about my tongue. The only problem is that she's really old-fashioned (she was upset after finding out I had my ears pierced a second time) and didn't want me to get any more piercings. I did the whole "Oh, but if I don't like it anymore I can always ... read more

My Ear Scalpelling Experience

I have been fascinated by stretched ears ever since the first time I laid eyes on them. I saw them on myspace and bme, but for a while almost strictly on the internet. It wasn't until about a year or two ago that I began seeing people that I knew that had started stretching their ears, my small home city of Oneida isn't exactly known for it's diversity. I decided about a year ago that I would begin stretching my own ears, I had wanted them for myself ever since I first saw them. I had my ears pierced when ... read more

My awesome tragus.

Alright, so I was 14. I had only my lobes pierced twice each, and a cartilage on my left ear. It was my 15th birthday and I was jealous that my sister had gotten her belly button pierced. I was really impressed by the clean studio I went to, Wicked Tattooz in Minerva Ohio, that I had my mom take me there to get a tragus. Well, before hand, I had always wanted a tragus ever since I saw one on a girl that my sister was friends with. I asked her if she was ever afraid that it was ... read more

I Said I'd Never get an Industrial.....Now I'm in Love

My husband asked what I wanted for my 23rd birthday and I quickly answered, "a new piercing". It had been a while and I was getting that familiar itch. I found and fell in love with the transverse lobe piercings, but alas it was not to be. To get the transverse lobes, I would have to give up my traditional lobe piercings and I was not ready to part with them. So my hunt for something else began. I wanted something not everyone has like rook or a helix. I already have my left tragus so that was out. I ... read more

Helix? I only wanted my nose pierced!

Hi All ~ In June 2008 I decided that I had to get my nose pierced. That was the only piercing I wanted to get so once it was done I would be happy. Right. Well I went and got my nose pierced by Stephanie at Sacred Heart Tattoo and Piercing in Vancouver, BC, and I absolutely love it. You can read about that story in BME under the heading Fear into Joy – a piercing experience, June 2008 section. Suffice it to say that it was a very good experience. She is amazing. The research I had done on ... read more

The Pain of Beauty (In Rook Form)

The Pain of Beauty So I have been looking up some ear piercings on the web recently, as I find myself to be bored with my current piercings once again. Just three months ago, I got my nose pierced professionally, and I was ready for change. So ready for change, that on a completely random impulse, I singly pierced my left lobe for a third time several days ago. Not the smartest or safest thing to do. In addition to my nose and lobe piercing, I have two lobe orbitals, one in each ear, and a helix in my left ... read more

It's Nice. It's Good. It's Getting Bigger...

Let me make something clear. I am not a professional. I do not recommend what I do to everyone or really anyone. What I am is someone who is aware of their own body and limits as well as someone who doesn't do something 'drastic' without researching. I began stretching a year ago. Previous to this, I think my body was trying to tell me to stop putting holes in it after the last three of my 21 piercings had gotten infected and took me at least a month to heal. Stretching from beginning to end took me around 8 ... read more

Scalpelling My lobes from 13mm to 3/4"

I realized my "goal size" wasn't big enough before I had even reached it. You see, the issue I had with my lobes was that they were tiny. Not thin, just tiny. Unfortunately like a lot of other people that embark on the stretching journey, I wasn't blessed with big fatty lobes. I began the sloooww stretching process about four years ago. Recently I reached 13mm, my goal size, always allowing my ears to self stretch. By this point, I had already built a massive collection of plugs, only to realize that I wanted bigger. Deciding to go bigger meant ... read more

Daith - second time lucky?

I first had my Daith pierced about 18 months ago at Holier than Thou in Manchester – It was my favourite of my cartilage piercings (the others being a forward helix, a conch and an anti-tragus) but unfortunately it just didn't want to play and I ended up making an executive decision to take it out as I still had a conch and anti-tragus in the last parts of healing in the other ear and I needed to have at least ONE side I could sleep on! Now, last month my best friend Danielle had decided she wanted somewhere pierced, ... read more
