sup tragus!

I've always wanted my tragus pierced, but the morning a few years ago when i went to get it, I chickened out and didn't end up getting it. I watched my friend get hers pierced with a gun, which I would never even think of, and she said even that hurt so I couldn't even imagine what it would be like with a needle. After that I just kind of forgot about it, except the times I've walked past people who had them, thought about how amazing they looked. But I'd started thinking about it more, finally got a job ... read more

My Right Tragus.

Well hey there. :) As a lot of kids my age (I am thirteen right now, turning fourteen on October thirteenth) my mom is strict on the piercings I get right now and I can not explain to her how cute it will work or anything. So I always have to do them myself. I use to be able to pierce anything on my body but lately I have not had all that much guts so when I do pierce things on me, it's not some stupid thing I've just thought I'd do. I look up a lot before I ... read more

My Industrial - I’m the worlds biggest cry-baby

I'm the worlds biggest cry-baby... About two months after getting my tongue pierced, I decided it was time for another piercing. My tongue went so well, and I love it, but it's kinda lonely. This time I decided to talk it over with my Mum because she kind of flipped out about my tongue. The only problem is that she's really old-fashioned (she was upset after finding out I had my ears pierced a second time) and didn't want me to get any more piercings. I did the whole "Oh, but if I don't like it anymore I can always ... read more

My Ear Scalpelling Experience

I have been fascinated by stretched ears ever since the first time I laid eyes on them. I saw them on myspace and bme, but for a while almost strictly on the internet. It wasn't until about a year or two ago that I began seeing people that I knew that had started stretching their ears, my small home city of Oneida isn't exactly known for it's diversity. I decided about a year ago that I would begin stretching my own ears, I had wanted them for myself ever since I first saw them. I had my ears pierced when ... read more

My awesome tragus.

Alright, so I was 14. I had only my lobes pierced twice each, and a cartilage on my left ear. It was my 15th birthday and I was jealous that my sister had gotten her belly button pierced. I was really impressed by the clean studio I went to, Wicked Tattooz in Minerva Ohio, that I had my mom take me there to get a tragus. Well, before hand, I had always wanted a tragus ever since I saw one on a girl that my sister was friends with. I asked her if she was ever afraid that it was ... read more

I Said I'd Never get an Industrial.....Now I'm in Love

My husband asked what I wanted for my 23rd birthday and I quickly answered, "a new piercing". It had been a while and I was getting that familiar itch. I found and fell in love with the transverse lobe piercings, but alas it was not to be. To get the transverse lobes, I would have to give up my traditional lobe piercings and I was not ready to part with them. So my hunt for something else began. I wanted something not everyone has like rook or a helix. I already have my left tragus so that was out. I ... read more

Helix? I only wanted my nose pierced!

Hi All ~ In June 2008 I decided that I had to get my nose pierced. That was the only piercing I wanted to get so once it was done I would be happy. Right. Well I went and got my nose pierced by Stephanie at Sacred Heart Tattoo and Piercing in Vancouver, BC, and I absolutely love it. You can read about that story in BME under the heading Fear into Joy – a piercing experience, June 2008 section. Suffice it to say that it was a very good experience. She is amazing. The research I had done on ... read more

helix

I have always felt very strongly about being my own person, and doing whatever that entails in my mind. Moving from a small town to Toronto in order to go to art school not only helped me grow as a person, but also feel more comfortable in my growths- until I could not imagine being anything else than what I am today. This is, in my mind, the biggest highlight for any serious person getting any sort of body modification: you just know, innately, that this is the right thing to do, and you can't imagine not doing it. For ... read more

Quick, but not quite painless.

Hello! This is a story about the piercing that brings me one step closer to my final layout plan: my conch. I've known I wanted a conch for a while. I don't remember where I first saw it, or exactly when, but I do know that it's been over a year since I decided I was going to get it. I also knew it was going to be one of the last piercings I got, because mine sort of go in sets, and I also wanted to build up to it. I was actually planning on waiting a little longer, ... read more

cute little anti-tragus

When I decided to get my anti-tragus pierced, it was mostly a spur of the moment thing. I had wanted the piercing for a while, but one day I just decided, "today I'm getting a piercing!" and I decided then that anti-tragus was the piercing I was going to get done and I was really excited to get it. I brought my friend along with me to watch and for some good company. She drove me to a shop near my house, but when we got there the girl at the counter said she could not do that specific piercing ... read more
