A few years ago (6 years, to be precise), after weeks of consideration, I finally decided to muster up the courage to ask my piercer if he would dermal punch the cartilage of my left ear. I've had my fair share of piercings, however they have always been small gauge. The largest I had was my navel, which had been pierced at 10ga and which was very intense. I was enamored by the idea of having a large gauge conch piercing but didn't want to go through the stretching process in cartilage. A dermal punch was the option, but it ...

Hello, my name is Jeff, I go by Ka on BME. Awesome introduction, right? Well for starters, the topic of this experience is ear stretching, my ear stretching to be exact. I am writing this experience for a multitude of reasons; one being, I feel as though BME has provided me with so much in my path to becoming what I want to be, and I feel the need to return the favor to others seeking similar information. And second; I need more time for my account. I began my modification journey in seventh grade. I got my ears pierced ...

I was sort of a late bloomer in terms of piercing among my friends, most of whom started getting pierced and quickly ruining their lobes in around 2005. After a bad breakup, at the beginning of my senior year in high school, I decided to get one of my lobes pierced. And the obsession began, I got my other lobe, started slowly stretching them, got a couple of other random cartilage piercings, and finally my industrial. I first decided to get my industrial pierced over 2 years ago, in the initial piercing craze I went through mentioned earlier. I first ...

My journey starts with modifying about 2 years ago. At that time I was dealing with some heavy depression and was very impulsive. My friends mostly new me (being stereotypical) as the chill fellow who would just ride out his life. I hated the fact that this is how people saw me because I have, my entire life, tried to find a moment to break out of the mold that people had set around me. One of my coping methods at the time was to completely consume myself within a hobby or a lifestyle. Before this story takes place I ...

It had been a while since I had gotten a piercing. My last piercing was my nose piercing and that happened six years ago. I hadn't been thinking much about it until my friend, G., asked me to be moral support for a lip piercing. Which, you know, got me to thinking. I had been planning to get another tattoo as my next decoration, but the shop had all these samples of really neat places to get your ear pierced. G. herself had a rook that I thought was so beautiful and delicate. I was too chicken to get a ...

This is my story on my lobe stretching process; it began about a year ago. Probably a little bit less, but you know. I had had my ears pierced for quite sometime; I had done them myself as I do with all my other stuff. But I'm good at it, and get legit needles to do it, and sterilize everything so don't be a stupid and go do it yourself, because chances are you aren't as adapt at it, as someone nearby in a Professional setting. But, I was browsing the internet and researching different piercings I could do when ...

I had gotten into body piercings at a young age and always liked they way they looked. I had my ears gauged and my tongue and lip pierced, but wanted to get something more unusual that not everyone had. So I started researching on BME and came across the large gauge inner conch piercings. I instantly fell in love with them and waited till I was 18 so I could get them, for my mom wouldn't take me to get them after i got my tongue done. When I finally turned 18 I went to the shop I got all ...

I first had my left ear pierced back in 1997. It was pierced with a gun while on holiday in Switzerland of all places (I didn't know better at the time), but it healed without issues and was really nearly painless. After that healed I played with it a lot and soon I was able to get the entire hoop through the hole (it was quite a bit thicker than the part that is meant to go through the hole), so when I got my right ear pierced 2 years later (by a proper professional), I knew that I wanted ...

First of all, I'm not mentioning the artist's name or which shop it was at because of the use of anesthetics and because I am a minor, I do not want him to get in trouble. For this story we'll call him Mo. Okay! So I have been stretching my lobes for over a year this time around(I'd tried before when I was like 12 and uneducated) and ever since I've started stretching I've had my eyes on big lobes. Why? Sorry, I don't have an answer about them representing anything on any sort of spiritual standpoint, I just think ...

Warning; do not try this at home unless you are absolutely sure that you want to have a D.I.Y. piercing. Make sure that if you are going to pierce yourself, you have the proper tools and sterilization techniques. So, anyway, let's meet, shall we? I'm Marie and this is my story about my DIY cartilage piercing. About three months ago, I went over to my friend, Jill Z.'s, house. We were just hanging out when I told Jill that I really wanted to get another piercing. I had already had my ear lobes stretched to 14 gauges and was planning ...
