Recently I have had a small obsession with ear piercings. It all started with a run of the mill helix, which prompted me to get my second lobes the very next day. Not long after I found myself itching for more, I knew, after much research, that I wanted my left tragus done, but my right helix, is still not completely healed and will flare up on occasion. So I knew I was gonna get something else done on my left ear, I just could not decide what. I found a picture of a rook piercing and absolutely fell in ...

Some background info: I'm 14 and I'm in love with piercings ATM I only have 2 ear ones (lobe and the one this is about), but by the time I'm finished I'll have about 14/15 (3xlobe, 3x lobe in other ear, 1xforward helix <-this experience is about this, 1xcartilage, 1xdiath, 1xindustrial, 1xtragus, 1xeyebrow, 1xmedusa and 1xlabret and am considering snake bites) :). On the way home from school me and my mate were talking about piercings and tattoos we want one day and it got me wanting one so I started looking around random websites when I came across this ...

So, I guess I'll start out by introducing myself a little. I've loved piercings since I was young. It was a fascination that my dad hated, but one that my mom had no issue with. As she saw it, I was a well-behaved kid, got excellent grades without her even having to make sure I did my homework or studied, and I didn't ask for much and all of this has continued through college. So, a piercing, just on the ear, isn't that big of a deal to her. My mom's one of those that you definitely don't cross if ...

I had gotten both of my conches done before, and both I had taken both out due to scarring on the back. However after thinking for a while I decided to just go ahead and try it again. Living in NYC there are a bunch of small parlors that seem a little sketchy, but so cheap. I was down near 6th ave earlier today when I saw a parlor that I had walked by numerous times before. It is a pretty modern looking shop, clean and I have usually seen a person or two in there. I went in, waited ...

When I was a bit younger, 3 years ago to be exact, I got an industrial piercing on my right ear as a whim. At this point I didn't really know a lot about industrials and the piercer had positioned the piercing a little too high in my ear. That has been one thing that bugged me in the back of my head all this time but otherwise I love love love my first industrial. So fast forward to present day... Now I'm in college and I'm seeing all these people with industrial piercings just like mine. I wanted to ...

Ahh, the saga of my industrial. This is a story that isn't particularly interesting, as my ear hasn't turned green and fallen offbut it was a grand experience for me, and hopefully, other people can have as pleasant an experience as my own. I've wanted an industrial for, oh I don't know, ages. I've always found that they're piercings that can be a bit different, yet not completely wild. Living in a culture where self expression and body modification is usually discouraged, I figured that an industrial would be the perfect piercing for me. I was fifteen when I first ...

After getting my scaffold in February I really wanted a piercing that not many people had, having looked on the internet and various piercing I came across the 'Vertical Tragus' and instantly fell in love with it! I looked up as much information for it as I could find (which weren't much) I decided I was going to get it done. I was pretty much really scared of getting this but I wasn't going to let that stop me! It was the 29th of September and it was the day I was going to get my vertical tragus after waiting ...

Back in august i started to really consider getting an industrial piercing. For about a month i was doing research all over the web. I really wanted to get all of the details so I knew what I was getting myself into. In almost every story i read the person talked about how painful this piercing was and how much pain they were in after they got it. After reading all of this I had second thoughts, I really didn't know if I could handle the pain. But the more I looked at pictures, the more I really wanted the ...

I can not remember the exact date when I first got my ear lobes pierced, although I do remembering being a sophomore in High School and having a 12 inch mo-hawk. I did not know much about body modification at the time. In fact I didn't even have a single piercing. To be honest I am not sure where I got the idea, I guess it just seemed like the thing to do. I had initial plans of stretching my ears to a 4 gauge. At the time I was not of legal age so I had to ask my ...

The first time I can remember seeing a large-gauge inner conch piercing was on the piercer who did my lobes about four months ago. It was a red glass plug, probably 4g, and my only thought was that it must have hurt to get a piercing right there. My lobes were my first piercings, so the conches were to be my second. Fast forward to two days ago: I arrive at the piercing parlor with a trusty friend, who was nice enough to drive us two hours to get there since no local shop did dermal punching. Alex was the ...
