My amazing industrial

I got my Industrial Piercing on October 3rd, 2009. I went to Planet Ink in Downtown Ottawa. They welcomed me into the shop, it was extremely clean. Because I'm only 14 another place wouldn't give me this piercing. So I went and filled out the papers, and bought H2Ocean, a cleaning product for the aftercare, I recommend this to every and any one. It was only 15 dollars for me. After I finished filling in everything and paid for the piercing and aftercare I was introduced to my piercer, Juliette. She herself had a few piercings and tattoos but seemed ... read more

First (and second) cartilage...and more to come...

Ok, so I am one of those girls who got her ears pierced at the mall when she was seven, and then as she got older started neglecting to wear earrings in them. Yeah, I know. What's the point in having them if you're never going to wear earrings? Anyways, I moved to a new school my freshman year of high school and started seeing a bunch of girls with their ears pierced and my best friend (a huge influence in who I am today) who had three lobes in each ear and a cartilage in one. For holidays and ... read more

Stretching Earlobes to (19mm)

I began the ear lobe stretching process roughly 2 years ago when I was 15 years old. I was inspired by a sense of difference and acceptance to get my ears pierced and stretched when I was younger, and to my surprise my mother took me to get my ears pierced even though she hates the look of stretched ear lobes. I waited the suggested 6 weeks before changing out the jewelry, and as soon as the wait was over I bought a pair of 12g tapers. Over the course of a week I worked the 12g tapers into my ... read more

Spontaneous industrial

*May 2009* Almost everything that I do is completely spontaneous, and my decision to get an industrial was no different. I had been looking up interesting non-facial piercings (no facial piercings were allowed at my job at the time) and came across the industrial. I immediately loved it and decided to get one. I had only 4 (total)lobe piercings and a navel piercing at the time. I'd been wanting an eyebrow piercing FOREVER (and I still want one!), but like I said, my job would not allow me to have one, which is really unfortunate :] One of my best ... read more

My Stretching Experience

So I decided to get my ears pierced because it was something I had wanted for a long time, i didn't want to spend money to get it done so I had my brother do it, he has had a ton of experience piercing various parts on his friends so I trusted him he pierced my ear and I was surprised that there was no pain during the process at all except for the soreness afterward. I experimented with different types of earrings for a while and then I discovered that people can stretch their ears and its a relatively ... read more

My reasoning behind getting my industrial...

I have been interested in tattooing and piercing since I went with my mum about 5-6 years ago to have my name tattooed on her wrist, from that moment I was hooked. I would spend as much time as I could researching and reading about different piercings and tattoos people have had done and how it has helped them get through difficult stages in their life. I have always known that I wanted to be apart of this culture and in turn it be apart of me. When I was just thirteen I decided that I wanted an industrial... very ... read more

new school, new independence, new piercing

Ever since I got my second lobe piercings in sixth grade, I have had the desire to put more and more holes in my body. After having three sets of lobe piercings, one helix, my nose, and my navel pierced, I decided it was time for something more uncommon among my group of friends. That is when I started shopping around for my new body decoration. I came across a diagram of the "anatomy" of a totally pierced ear. The tragus was intriguing, but at the same time it was intimidating. None of my friends had theirs done. Unfortunately, I ... read more

My very first DIY piercing!

First off, a little bit about myself. My name is Sarah and I am 16 years old. I have 7 piercings which include: my 1st lobes, 2nd lobes, left cartilage, right tragus and bellybutton. For the past couple of weeks, I have been thinking about getting a new piercing. My last piercing was my tragus which I had gotten pierced in July (it's now October). My tragus was finally healed and had no more crusties and didn't hurt at all, so I thought this is the perfect time to get a new piercing! I was in my math class talking ... read more

My Rook Piercing

Recently I have had a small obsession with ear piercings. It all started with a run of the mill helix, which prompted me to get my second lobes the very next day. Not long after I found myself itching for more, I knew, after much research, that I wanted my left tragus done, but my right helix, is still not completely healed and will flare up on occasion. So I knew I was gonna get something else done on my left ear, I just could not decide what. I found a picture of a rook piercing and absolutely fell in ... read more

My piercing and I

Some background info: I'm 14 and I'm in love with piercings ATM I only have 2 ear ones (lobe and the one this is about), but by the time I'm finished I'll have about 14/15 (3xlobe, 3x lobe in other ear, 1xforward helix <-this experience is about this, 1xcartilage, 1xdiath, 1xindustrial, 1xtragus, 1xeyebrow, 1xmedusa and 1xlabret and am considering snake bites) :). On the way home from school me and my mate were talking about piercings and tattoos we want one day and it got me wanting one so I started looking around random websites when I came across this ... read more
