ple Piercing at Two Feathers It's been over a year now since I got into real body piercing (meaning other than ears) and I thought it about time to post an experience to you, my first piercing (other than my 5 ear lobe piercings) was my left nipple. I had been thinking about getting it done for some time and researched it as much as possible, which means that I asked the only other person I knew had a nipple piercing what it's like and checked the local piercing places. Living in Perth Wester Australia we have a choice of ...

Stretcing Update I have 1 1/8 inch holes in my ears. They are very healthy and happy. I will explain how I got them this big so maybe it can give people a few ideas and maybe someone can avoid some of the early mistakes I made. I has taken me about 4 1/2 years or so to get this size so don't rush. I had my ears pierced with a gun (yucky) at age 12. I streched them to a 16g and then a 14g with no problem. I purchaced taper pin from gauntlet to aid in my stretching. ...

di's Tragus story The following is taken verbatim from my co-op's house journal (except for anything in italics). The story was written to be read by my 12 housemates, who were for the most part unfamiliar with bodypiercing at all. I planned for the tale to be unclear as to it's subject until the very end. Try reading it from the perspective of someone who has never heard of piercing before. This was my very first pierce, so I wasn't all that familiar with it myself before I went. My tale of Monday, Jan 2nd (1995) Okay, I showed up ...

Shifting Urban Body: In the Culture of Recognition The Shifting Urban Body: In the Culture of Recognition. Copyright © 1995 Mike McCabe On their voyages across the surface of the earth, 15th and 16th century maritime explorers referred to the unknown regions of the globe as Terra-Incognita or uncharted territory. They roamed the surface of the world blindly, unaware of the significance of its contour. Without the luxury of a map, early explorers had no meaningful framework that could orient them in their travels, there was no top or bottom to anything. There was nothing but the stars to help ...

ican-American nipple history Well... it's been two weeks since getting my nipples stretched I must say-- it's fabulous. Let me relate my own personal history of body modification and it would put things into perspective.. I'm a 32 year old professional black male who has actually never felt that great about my body.... I'm 5'8, 180, and in good shape but i've always had issues with the way I look. I will say however, that modifying my body has given me a new sense of confidence. I wanted to submit something here because it's rare to hear from African Americans ...

From: Greg K. As a startlingly tenatious misanthrope [one would hope to get over the annoyance prompted by social interaction but, as I say, tenatious] I have never been able to deal with the trust associatied with tattooing; "They have never slipped before so I WILL be the first". This mistrust has prompted many a session spent pooring over TATTOO magazine trying to figure a way to do bodyart to myself, by myself. Let me tell you, MIRRORS DONT WORK WELL FOR THIS. Via this path I came to branding; I can design it, plan it and DO it myself! ...

Your Lobes Stretching Your Lobes This is just my advice - it's far from gospel truth :) Lobe stretching has been popular in nearly every tribal culture historically, and seems to be picking up in popularity in our anti- bodmod culture. It is very easy to do... (BTW This information pretty much applies to any fleshy tissue stretching.) GETTING STARTED You will need a fully healed, well placed piercing. By well placed I mean that it should be high up enough on the lobe that when stretched the bottom skin won't be thinner than the sides - this can cause ...

ple piercing by Raelyn Gallina Newsgroups: rec.arts.bodyart Subject: I got my nipple pierced last Sunday! Date: 24 Nov 1996 04:44:00 GMT Hello from a long time lurker, As the subject line mentions, I got my nipple pierced! Thanks to all of you who have posted information on the subject, especially those who joined the barbell/ring debate. I decided to go with a straight barbell (12 ga, sss, 3/4" long.) My nipple, pre-pierce and "at rest" measured 5/16" and I appreciated the extra room the first few days post pierce because my nip was running at about 11/16" and semi-erect. Today, ...
