Stretching/Low Garth Experience

etching/Low Garth Experience This is my stretching/low garth piercing experience: A while back I wanted to change my small silver-ringed ear look. I currently had eight earings up to the top of my cartilage but I thought it needed something else. I slowly put more and more silver sleepers in my lobe piercing, I got up to an eight gauge so I went and bought a proper surgical steel ring. I left that in for quite a while. Later I felt that I wanted to go bigger so that I could have a visible flesh tunnel in place of the ... read more

My scarification experience....

Let me start out by saying that I am very young, as far as most of the extreme body art community is concerned. I'm 19, and I've been into body art for about 4 years now. I did my first navel piercing when I was 15, did my septum at 16, and went from there. I discovered early on that I enjoyed the action of being pierced, and having a trophy of that experience. I then began to look for different sensations. I got my first tattoo at 18. In September of 96, I met Mikel when I started working ... read more

Hockey Tattoo

key Tattoo I guess I have loved the sport of hockey since I was born. No matter how hard I try I can not recall a time that I was not obsessed with the sport. I wanted my first tattoo when I was 18, but it took me 10 years to get it done. When I was 18, all I wanted was the red demon that was on the Jump In The Fire EP by the heavy metal band Metallica. But my friends talked me out of it saying that it was not something I would want 4 years later. ... read more

Why Tattoos?

Tattoos? I like to have tattoos made. Really. Not because I want to impress anyone, or rebel against anything. It's a source of pleasure similar to customizing personal things, pretty much like painting one's car, only we paint our bodies. The main reason why tattoos are (or were) culturally rejected is that it's permanent. Let's face it, much of society is a passive lot. They are afraid. Of many things. Afraid to show their opinion, afraid to protest what they don't want, afraid to go for what they want, and afraid of change in general. When this is considered, it ... read more

Permanent Nipple Rings

manent Nipple Rings After some convincing my wife recently agreed to having her nipples pierced. While she has long been a willing subject when it came to her ear piercings, she was resistant to the idea of having her nipples pierced again. She had allowed me to pierce her nipples a few years ago using Gauntlet jewelry, but soon thereafter lost the piercings when she removed the jewelry prior to going to her doctor for a yearly physical. On my birthday she had surprised me by offering to have her nipples pierced again. She also had two other requests for ... read more

Lobe Stretching Experience

e Stretching Experience My name is Deborah and I got interested in body piercing/modification after my second year at Purdue University. My first piercing was my nose, which I no longer have (didn't really like the way it looked). I now have my nipples, tongue and navel pierced. After having those done I wanted to try lobe stretching. Most people (your average non-pierced people) thought my piercings were odd enough but the idea of stretching my lobes they could not comprehend (my parents, in particular, thought it was disgusting). But I digress. The point of this essay is to share ... read more

Snow White's Mini-Gallery

Howdy, I have been inkining my skin for about 3 years now. I started at the ripe old age of 45! So if anyone says, "oh these kids today, whatever are we going to do with them?" They [who exactly is "they" anyway?] should come and see me first. Of course I do believe in using some common sense in an individuals decision on what they want affixed to their skin. Ah, and yes we do live in America, where we do exercise free will. I plan to call my artist and tell him he is now WWW famous. I ... read more

My first tattoo

first tattoo When I first got the idea of getting a tattoo I was sixteen. Because of my age it would have been impossible to get a tattoo on my own. I could have asked my mom but I unfortunately didn't have a death-wish. The laws in my state dictated that minors would need parent consent to modify their bodies in any way. Since that wasn't going to happen, I had to do my own tattoo. Let me give a little background info on me. The high school I was in consisted mainly of preppies and jocks. I hated it. ... read more
