my lobes as of today

I had my Lobes scallpeled about 2 years ago and the process was pretty terrible at first. I bled a lot and had blood crusties for weeks. The person who I had do it was a tattoo artist and said he had done a lot. I wish I had gone to someone who really knew what they were doing, I now have little pieces that are on each side preventing me from stretching evenly. I want to get them fixed but wonder if they will heal well. I was at 1/2 and was cut to a full 1", so my ... read more

Worth it?

Last year, I went through a really hard time in my life and in an uproar of stupid teenage rebellion I ran away from my problems, psychologically and physically. With an Amtrak ticket from Penn Station to Springfield Massachusetts I felt like the further I went, the easier life would get, so from Massachusetts I would buy yet another train ticket elsewhere. On my way to the city, the train stopped at Jamaica and the first thing I saw was "Free Piercings." The sign brought a smile to my face and beckoned me to step off the train. Lured by ... read more

this is not a test...

I'm not one of those people who decides to poke holes in her body out of boredom, but this time...was simply one of those times. Fresh out of college for the summer, I decided to get a new body mod that had just as much attitude as I. That was when I had made the choice to get an industrial. I knew that it was very pleasing, aesthetically, in my eyes, but at the same time, a bitch to heal. I also knew the risks of piercing cartilage, especially two pieces of cartilage at once. I had done my research ... read more

Slicing My Lobes

I have been stretching my ears on and off for about 4 years now. I've met and surpassed more than one goal that I thought would be my end result, only to decide later that I wanted to go bigger. Eventually I decided that 1" would be my final result and, this time, I think that it actually is my final result and I am finally finished stretching for good. It's a very satisfying feeling coupled with the knowledge that I'll finally be able to start collecting up different plugs and tunnels to wear in my ears. Over the course ... read more

Self-Pierced Lobes

I can't say it was a bad experience or anything, piercing my own ears. It wasn't painful in the least. Just sore for a few days after the initial piercing. They're not that uneven. You can only tell if you're looking for it. My right ear actually, told to me by a professional, was done/pierced perfectly. I've done several piercings in my spare time, actually. Such piercings include - multiple [5-6] pairs of ears, including some stretching, one lower lip piercing, a Monroe [self], a knee [non-deep], and several other piercings. Though I'm not certified, I don't charge for my ... read more

My stretching journey.

My stretching journey. First I'll tell you my current mods: i have 3mm septum, bridge, 15mm tongue, frowny, 27mm lobes, 4mm second lobe, both nipples, navel, Meatotomy, one tattoo, three scarification's and multiple retired piercings. At the age of 14 I wanted my ears pierced for no real reason so I asked mum if I could and she said yes and left it at that. About a week later we went to the chemist in town to get it done. (Yes I no tat its apparently bad but hey I was young and didn't know) So I picked out the ... read more

My Decision is a Daith!

I have wanted my Daith pierced for a very long time, since I got into piercings at 12. I haven't gotten my Daith until now because I feared my ear wasn't compatible with this piercing. So I ended up getting other piercings, monroe, tongue, lobes (stretched), snug, rook, inner conch, tragus, anti-tragus, belly button top and bottom, septum, nostril, and even my hip. I had just successfully pierced my tragus. Which I used a 18g sterile autoclave needle, and 18g ring. I've been doing my own piercings with professional equipment for 4 years. I am in no way saying that ... read more

My all amazing Daith.

My name is Courtney, I just turned 15. I currently only have my lobes, nose, tragus and now daith as my mum has only just allowed me to get some of the piercings I want but there will be plenty more in the future that is for sure. I have caught the piercing bug after having my sisters friends who's an alternative model living with us (Search her! LadyBel Genocide) and she's covered it piercings and tattoos. Also my sister have quite a few herself. So it was my birthday in two weeks and I already decided with mum that ... read more

Ungrateful gun, transformed to Gold!

I was about 15 going on 16 when I was taken to the local mall and was allowed to get my wonderful ears tortured by that ungrateful gun. Don't get me wrong I loved my new found love of sparkling metal and zircon. It was a wonderful feeling knowing I had something different to show as my personality, as some friends have pointed out, was dull. I was blessed with the "shyness" gene and quite fond of it. I was always looking for something to bring me out of my shell. I tried the usual wearing of different types of ... read more

Tragus Piercing - all healed well.

Upon getting my tragus piercing, I had no idea what to expect. I had done no research on the piercing, and aside from thinking it was absolutely gorgeous on others, I had no idea about its pain level, or healing process. Even so, I was ecstatic to get this new piercing, and excitedly awaited the needle. I had a few problems with the piercing after due to my lack of knowledge, however, as soon as I knew what I was doing, all healed well! With this, I recommend doing this research. Though I must say, this impromptu piercing was one ... read more
