My beautiful nape piercing.

I should start this off with saying I currently have twenty piercings, and have had over forty if you count everything that has been ripped out, taken out, and/or re-pierced. I'm not quite sure what made me decide that I wanted a nape piercing, but I've always seemed to love getting piercings that aren't common, and ones that get comments such as, "WOW, how does that work?!" Anyway, one morning I woke up and decided I wanted to get my nape pierced. I never even considered it before that day. I have long hair and figured it would be constantly ... read more

My little story

Well, to start off my nose piercing is not my first one and it will not be my last. It was June of last year and I was wanting my nose pierced for about six months. As we all know women, tend to change our minds well lets just say, often haha. So after waiting for what I thought was long enough to talk myself out of it, I made my decision, I was getting that night come hell or high water. Being very excited I called my best friend, to come watch my make an ass out of myself ... read more

My Navel

I have always wanted a navel ring, for one reason: navel jewelry is so just so darn pretty! For years in high school I eyed racks of dangling rhinestones and thought "one day, when my belly is flat enough, I will wear one of those!" Yes, I am a self conscious girl. But a few months ago, after months of hitting the gym (not to mention getting over my teenage awkwardness) I finally felt ready. Having only had a couple of basic piercings done before (ears, nose, eyebrow), and I had trusted a friend of mine to refer me to ... read more

Learning From Experience (A Cautionary Customer Sevice Tale)

As an individual who has grown up in the Body Modification community; I always considered myself to be pretty knowledgeable about what to look for when dealing with the experience of going to a new piercing (or tattoo) studio. Looking for certification, cleanliness of the environment, and etcetera. I often inquire about the years of experience the individual professional has had, how many years their studio has been in operation - so on and so forth. However, for once in my life - all my prior knowledge and experience failed me when I decided to journey into "Grand Island Ink". ... read more

Getting my nose pierced on both sides!

This is my first story so bear with me, but I am really excited! I will do my best to give advice and share my story with you wonderful people! Recently, I got my both sides of my nosed pierced. Now this is not my first body mod experience. I got both nipples and an industrial in both ears when I was 18. Now that I have recently turned 19, I was itching for some more piercing. So I did some looking on BME and I kept coming across people who have both sides of their nose pierced. As a ... read more

Doing up the Button

Doing UP The Button ~ By February 2009 I had discovered that I had a small addiction to piercing, or was it just to the sparklies that filled the resultant holes. By this time I had three holes in each ear (two cartilage), one in my nose and one in my most special of girly places, all of which I had grown to love and couldn't imagine being without. But as with any family, a new member is always greeted with joy and love and it was time for the birth of my belly button piercing. I was always a ... read more

"I'm here to help clean up the blood.."

Stretching has been a very long and painful journey for me, and for 7 years worth of work I only had these dinky little 3/4" lobes to show for it. When I decided to move forward from the size I'd been for over 2 years I realised two things: 1. My left ear was thinning at the bottom and 2. I had a blowout and some pretty good sized keloids on my right ear that I felt would make the process more difficult. My first priority was fixing the problems before going any bigger, so I went about looking for ... read more

DIY septum piercing

So, I had been wanting to get my septum pierced for a while. I always thought they looked edgier than nostril piercings with the added bonus of being able to easily hide them. I'm a nurse so easy hideability is essential for any body modifications that I choose to undertake. My nostril piercing was a big hassle having to constantly change it to a clear one or take it out when I was working. I wanted a piercing that was further outside the norm than most people go for, one that had the flexibility to wear a variety of different ... read more

so thats what I forgot to tell you dad...

I have double lobe piercings and a nose piercing. All were gunned. However before you judge me I would like to say I didnt know any better until recently. All piercings are fine though. But you are not here to read about my lack of knowledge on piercing equiptment though, are you? So I'll get to my lip piercing. For my fifteenth birthday I was supposed to get a scaffold/industrial piercing but when the day came my mother changed her mind. She loathes all piercings ecxept the run-of-the-mill lobe piercings that most probably most people have done in Claires accessories ... read more
