Gradual Earlobe stretching

have pretty much been interested in body modification since probably about the time I saw a tattoo on someone, when I was about 4 years old, I was just facinated with it, after doing the usual thing when I was younger, you all know, I had my ear pierced when I was about 8 or 9. Then I went on and had my lip done, eyebrows, tongue, ect. Then I was just getting bored with it. When I was about 14 my friend David had his ear's stretched to about 1/2 inch or so, not quite for sure, but he told me how he did it. So later on that month I was at Lollapallooza checking out the piercing booths and I bought a 14 guage captive bead ring and thought to myself "Damn, this thing is HUGE" so I went home, hung a padlock from my other earing for about 2 or 3 hours, and just poped that 14 guage right in, then I got bored and decided to go buy a 12 guage captive bead ring. Then I convinced my mom to steal me a 12 guage needle from the ambulance, she is an EMT, so she did that for me. Then I just poped that needle in and stuck that 12 guage in. That was all good for a while, then I saw these 10 guage rings and they were massive to me, just looking at them, but I couldn't resist, I had to buy them, I came home, and started tugging on my ears, hanging padlocks from them, shoving toothpicks in them, using neosporen, and finally I got the 1st one in, (damn that hurt) Then I did the whole process over again on the other ear, and it hurt about the same ammount of pain. Somewhere around there I pierced my left ear 4 more times with 14 guage captive beads, and 3 of them developed keloids so I took all of them out accept for the 1 in each lobe. Then I went to have them stretched some more, but I wanted to have it done professionally, because I really dont like inflicting pain on myself (something about knowing the pain is coming, and knowing that your the one behind the pain makes you hesitate, when someone else does it its different). I was 17 years old at this time, so I went into Primal Image Tattoo in Ft. Worth, Texas (great place, nice people, clean shop also) I talked to the piercer for a while and he said it would be best only to go to 8 guage for now, so I picked out some acrylic curved barbells (bad choice) and he got me prepaired and stuck 'em through not much pain at all. After a while they healed up nice, but I always tightened the balls up on them too much and they started to crack, then finally one of them just broke, so I stuck some 10 guages back in for about 2 days, then on the 3rd day of the 10 guages being back in my ears, I went back to get stretched more. He said it they had already healed back up to 10 guage and it wouldn't be smart to go to a 6 guage because of tearing, but I made up my mind, I wanted to go to a 6 guage, so we picked out some surgical steel captive beads (i will never get acrylic again) and then he said it would take about 15 minutes to sterilize them, so I smoked a cigarette, and looked at the jewelry I eventually want to have put in my ears. Finally, after what seemed like forever he called me back into the room, got me in the chair (this is when my nerves started to kick in) My girlfriend was in there with me. He got all the tapers prepaired, and the jewelry, lubed up my right ear, and moved the taper around in my ear, told me to take a deep breath, then another deep breath, then one more, and he told me to hold it, and then to let my breath out when I wanted too, and thats when he would put the taper all the way in, so I let out my last breath and WHAMO, damn, that hurt pretty damn bad, alotta blood because of some tearing, my girlfriend almost passed out, and me and the piercer (dont remember his name) kinda laughed at her, then we did the whole process in the other ear, lubing, deep breaths, then he jabbed me again with the taper, OUCHIE!!!!!!!!!!! That one hurt alot more, and more blood, and by that time my girlfriend was freaking (she hates blood) so we laughed at her some more. Then he showed me some soaps that I should use on my ears (they were red, and buring pretty good) and we talked about how long till I could go get stretched some more, he said he could take me to up a 4 guage, mabey a 2 guage and put some flesh tunnels in my ears (yippie) after about 2 weeks after they get done healing, he said they should heal in about 4 weeks, then 2 weeks later it would be time to have it done again. I am so excited about going back to have them stretched again. I love it, the pain, the way the jewelry weighs my ears down, the way they bounce against my neck. HELL YEH, feels good. So I cant wait to go back. I wouldn't recomend stretching to anyone that doesn't like pain though, because compared to all my other piercings (even my sctrotum), stretching hurts the worse, but its great, and fun to have done.
