my self pierced hips
This is how my experience of piercing my own hips. This is in no way an instruction manual on how to do it. I do not plan on keeping them I forever, I will no doubt be taking them out next month. I would incourage anyone who does want to pierce them selves to do it safely and with sterile equiptment, or not at all. But in the end, its totally your choice, you never know how it/they will turn out in the end.
Alright, so here's how my story went.
So it all started out one night, my brothers were both at work and I was sitting in my bedroom alone, considering the thought of going to bed. My parents were both still sitting in the lounge room watching tv. I had my needles and my piercing clamps sitting beside me on my bed, so really, I had no choice but to pierce myself haha. I've been feeling the urge for a new piercing for a while now, although in the past 2 months or so I had pierced a 4 run frenum ladder and a 4 run anti pubic ladder. I also just stretched my lorum up to 0g, and stretched my right lobe up to 26mm and my left is under reconstruction but they can all wait for another time.
Anyway, back to the story. Sitting there in my room with my needles and clamps just messing around with them when I had an idea, id pierce my hips. A few people at school had been talking about them saying how much they had wanted them, but no one really had the necasary knowledge or utensils to do them, or they just simply weren't allowed to get them done at the time.
So I grabbed a pen, my clamps, needles, and my bar and I proceeded to marked my right hip. I clamped it up opend up my needle packet and pushed the needle through where the marking was, I like to pierce myself slow when I do for the expierience of it, I enjoy the pain. One last push and I got it through, I was a little overwhelmed at what id just done, happy as larry though.I left the needle in for about a minute or so, grabbed my bar, screwed off one end and followed the needle through with the bar and screwed the ball back on, it all looked fine to me. I then proceeded to clean my new piercing and I then jumped into bed and went to sleep.
The next day I woke up, and cleaned my new piercing (which is on my right hip if I didn't mention that earlier). It seems to be going fine at the moment not bleeding much att all,it seems to be a little red and tender though, but that's gotta be expected. I pierced my hip lower then where the usual hip piercings are placed, it is just under my pants line because I didn't really want my parents to know what I had done, same goes for my genital piercings, after all im only 15 haha.
That day I went to school, showed a few people my new piercing, got different reactions from different people, all in all I don't really care, I did it for my own enjoyment, i forgot about them and did my class work. Those who I did show asked if I was going to do my left hip too, so I decided I would, that afternoon. I was considering doing it anyway, previous to what some of my friends had said.
So that afternoon my dad went to work, and my mum headed out to pick up one of my bros from work too, so as soon as she left I grabbed my needle, marker, bar and clamps and set to work.
I marked my left hip and tried to get it as even as possible to the other. I did a pretty decent job in my opinion, especially without any help.
So I clamped my hip and shoved the needle through, it went in like butter. I was extremely happy with how easy it went through. I got the bar through with easy and screwed the ball on. This time it was a lot easier then my right hip, I guess its because I knew what I was in for.
They looked even enough for me, even though the left one could of been a little wider, but I think that I did a pretty decent job of them.
For now im not sure what I will get pierced next, I have 13 at the moment. Ill probably get inverse vertical snake bites, and I will write an expirience about them when they happen.
All this was done with pre sterilized needles, and clamps that were as sterilized as possible at home. Always use sterile equiptment and pierce safley.
Happy piercing :)
