My nipple confidence building piercing experience
About three days ago I got both my nipples pierced. I went through many stages before I got them done. When I was younger I thought it was so dumb for girls to get their nipples pierced, after all who sees it but you? You wear a bra over it. Then I got to thinking, "well it is ok on other people, but I would never do it." Then, I way looking through pictures of them online and got to thinking "Maybe I would like too, they look cute on some of these girls." Then I talked it over with my boyfriend to see if he would be into me getting them done. He said yes and a few days later I was under the needle. I looked all over for the right shop to get them done at. I did not want to whip them out just anywhere or to just anyone. I spent a few days looking through all the shops in the surrounding areas to find just the right one and person. I came across Pierced Hearts Tattoo and Piercing Parlor. Their shop was meticulously clean, they had a huge selection of reasonably priced, top quality jewelry, and their piercers were willing to answer any questions I had. The piercer I talked to (a lady named Chuck) seemed to really know what she was talking about. I also had hoped to find a girl to do it, I am not sure why but it was important to me. I decided to go to Chuck to get them done. The big day finally came. I was so nervous I thought I was going to throw up. It is not every day you pay someone to poke a needle (and a big one I might add) through a very tender part of your body. I walked into the shop and was greeted by Chuck. I told her I was the one who had been communicating with her about getting both my nipples pierced. She said, "right on, lets fill out the papers." So I signed away my poor nipples and she showed me my jewelry options. I picked just normal run of the mill barbells because I was not even sure how those would look on me. After that, she said, "Come on back and we will get this done." I walked with her to the back of the shop where their two piercing rooms are. The one we went into looked just like a doctor's office, right down to having a jar of candy for the "patients". I sat on the table and she asked me the usual as she got out her equipment, "where you from?" "How'd you here about our shop?" "Do you have any other piercings?" I was trying to calm my nerves by saying "There has got to be more painful places to pierce. If there is not do not tell me until after." Then it was time to take off my shirt so she could clean them and mark them. After this she had me lay back on the table. She told me everything she was doing, as I could not see her laying down. She put the clamp on my left one and told me "Do not worry, I am not doing it yet. I am just touching you." Then she said, "Ok, now pick a spot on the ceiling to look at and breath in really deep." I did as she said. When she told me to breath out I felt the needle go through. Not pleasant by any means, but not as bad as one might think. Then she screwed the ball on and did the same with my right. I would have to say that the second one hurt a little more then the first. Then it was over. It took maybe 2 minutes to pierce both of them but it felt like 10. I looked in the mirror and thought "Oh my goodness! They look SO awesome!!" I thanked her profusely as I put my bra and shirt back on. She then informed me that my thought of "There must be a more painful place to pierce..." was untrue. I looked at her dumbfounded because for being the "most painful place to pierce" that was not bad at all. Needless to say I felt like a total bad a** after she told me that. Then she gave me a lollipop and took me to the front to pay. It was only $89.89 for both. I left the shop feeling exhilarated. They were a little tender; kind of like when someone pinches your nipple really hard and a little later you can still feel it. But really that was it. My boyfriend had been in the room watching and said, "That needle was huge! I am kind of glad you could not see it." My piercer had told me how to clean it; a pinch of salt in a coffee mug filled with water, heat it a little in the microwave, pour a little into two shot glasses, put them over your nipples then lay back for 5 to 10 minutes. That is it. I have found it easier to do one at a time. Especially when I am home alone and only have my cell phone for a clock. It feels really good to clean them, especially if they are a little sore. They have bled the tiniest bit the last two days, but my piercer said that is totally normal for any piercing to do. I have found sleeping in a sports bra and a normal bra at the same time helps to comfort them while you sleep. Wearing shirts that are a little tight also helps. Basically anything that will hold them a little in and up helps in my opinion. Well, that is my whole experience. It is day three now and their doing great. I love them, my boyfriend loves them, and I have four people talked into getting them just from seeing how good mine look. I defiantly feel they add to the attractiveness of my breasts. If I had it to do over again, I totally would. If any of you are thinking about it, I'd say go for it!!! It not that bad and is well worth it!
