y name is Jamie and I'm 19 years old and live in Connecticut. As of right now, I have 12 ear piercings, including a tragus piercing. I also have my eyebrow, tongue, and nose pierced. I've always wanted to pierce my nipple but something always told me that could not go through the embarrassment of taking my shirt off in front of a stranger and having him touch my nipple along with another factor, I was afraid of the pain. I finally got up enough nerve to go through with the piercing, on one condition. I had to have someone come with me and get something pierced as well. Since my friend Melissa has wanted her eyebrow pierced, I knew this would be the perfect opportunity.

The whole day during my classes at school I could not wait to get there and get it over with. I was nervous yet so excited that the nervousness didn't bother me. I told my friend that I wanted to go first that if I didn't I would chicken out. When we got inside the shop there were two girls in front of us one getting her navel pierced the other her lip done. We had to sit and wait for them to be finished. After he finished a few more people started coming into the shop to talk with him about piercings and changing jewelry. I know him well because he's done all of my piercings. He was the one that mentioned getting my nipple pierced to begin with. After he was done answer questions he hurried my friend and I into the room and closed the door behind us.

I wore a button down shirt and a snap front bra so that I did not have to remove my shirt. He was very professional about it. He looked at my nipple to see what gauge ring would be right for the size of it. He had me lie down on a bed and concentrate on my breathing. While I lay there thinking to myself how that I can actually be going through this, he was getting everything ready. The time had now come for the actually piercing. He told me that he was going to have me take three deep breaths and on the third breath he was going to put the needle through. I closed my eyes and started getting myself ready. I started the breathing and on the third I felt the needle go through. There was no pain. What I got was a warm sensation and actually feeling the needle through my nipple. He said it was a clean piercing and that it was in perfect placement. He told me he was done and just had to insert the ring. He made me stay there for a few minutes just to make sure I was okay and realized I'M PIERCED. It was so great. I had this adrenaline rush going through me like nothing could touch me, I was a superwoman. After my piercing my friend got her eyebrow down and we were outta there. I thanked him very much and told him I would be back to get the other one done soon.

When I got home I went to the bathroom and got a good look at it. Then I got ready for bed. I slept with a bra on for a few nights so I didn't have bad rubbing and bleeding. I clean it twice a day with Dial antibacterial soap and turned it regularly in the shower. I've had this piercing for a little over 6 months now and I can't wait to change it so I can put a circular barbell in it.

When people see my facial piercings they always ask me if I have "any other " piercings. When I tell them I have my nipple pierced I get mixed reactions. Most girls either grab there own breasts and say, "How could you do that to yourself?" Or they it's really cool. Most guys think it's awesome and of course want to see the piercing. But over all I have not received a really bad comment about it except one. My mother wasn't very happy with the fact that I pierce myself and when she found out that I pierced my nipple I thought she was going to rip it out herself.
She's better now and she excepts me for who I am.

My next piercing experience. I want to get my other nipple done so that it doesn't get too jealous ? but I also want to pierce my labret and also a few more ear piercings.
