Nipple @ Nothing Shocking
ple @ Nothing Shocking
I had always wanted to or at least thought about piercing my nipple,
but I never could really get the guts to go and do it. I had heard that a nipple piercing was one of the more painful ones, and I had actually tried it with a safety pin when I was in high school (I know that wasn't the smartest thing but I was a young punker), so I knew it would hurt. However, the idea of the pain is what eventually made me do it.
I had been burned by a particular girl one too many times. As a
result, I figured if I went and had my nipple pierced, not only would I do something that I've been wanting to do, but the experience would also remind me not to get involved with this girl again. I chose a place called Nothing Shocking in Fullerton, CA because, out of the places I checked out, the piercer there was the only one who took time to explain everything to me before hand. The other piercers were saying things like "Are you gonna do it or not?" Also, Nothing Shocking was by far the cleanest looking place.
The piercing itself wasn't nearly as bad as I imagined. The
nervousness in my stomach was actually worse than the piercing. The worst part of the whole procedure was definitely the clamps. I originally thought that the clamping was the pierce until he asked me if I was ready. I said yes, and he did it. It was over so fast that it almost didn't even have time to hurt. It was like a sharp pinch and then soreness after that, but it wasn't bad. When I paid him the money afterwards, my hand was still shaking from my nervousness. I also had to take some deep breaths before driving home to calm my nerves. Like I said, being nervous about it was worse than the actual pierce.
That was about 3 years ago and since then I had my other nipple done
and a PA done. I've been thinking about getting a little more extreme because those piercings are starting to become semi-normal, but again I'm not sure if I have the guts to go through with it. However, that girl just moved back to where I live and she's already tried to contact me, so I just might end up going through with it.
