My new pierced lip!

lways been fascinated by piercings, but never thought I could have one myself. This is because my parents are against any form of body modification, and on top of that I'm afraid of needles. Because I can't stand much pain and heard all the horror story's about how painful getting pierced is, I just would read about it and look at some photo's on the Internet. The more I began to know about piercings and the procedures, the more I wanted to experience it myself. Because all the stories I have red are different, I didn't know what to expect exactly. The main thing I would worry about is "would it really hurt that bad?". I could only know what kind of feeling it was by getting pierced myself.. Eventually I decided getting pierced myself. That was a few months ago. Because I'm only sixteen so my parents had to agree with it. I think that was the hardest part of getting my piercing. They would definitely NOT give me permission. But after asking for it about 1000 times in 1 month they finally gave in. This is where I began to get really scared. Only the idea of the needle trough my skin made me shiver! I really wanted a bridge or a lip piercing. My parents thought a bridge was too extreme so I decided to get my lower lip pierced. So after being busy with school for about three weeks, I made an appointment for the next week. That was one of the most nervous weeks I have ever had! My parents still tried to talk me out of it but I wasn't going to let that happen. I wanted this for the last two years! One week later we finally drove to the studio where I was getting pierced. I was so nervous I almost wanted to go home without getting my lip pierced! But when we finally where there, I was a bit more relaxed. The piercer opened the door and I was surprised it wasn't a real shop but he just pierced at his home. he offered me some tee and tried to make me feel good. After ten minutes he began to get all the pierce tools such as the clambes and the jewellery. He made me rinse out my mouth with mouthwash. He then measured my lip and marked the spot where he was going to pierce me: the middle of my lower lip. On went the clamp. I know some people say that clamps hurt, but they really don't! I was expecting him to tell my to take a deep breathe and all, but he just put the needle through. I felt the needle go trough my flesh and... It hurts pretty damn bad! But then again, it only lasted for about 3 seconds! He was taking his time to get the jewellery, while I just wanted to get over this. After half a minute he inserted the ring. There was almost no blood involved with it. A few seconds after it was done I felt kind off dizzy and all, but that was over in about two minutes after he got me some sugar (I don't know why, but it really helps!). He gave me some aftercare instructions I paid, and walked out the door smiling! It was all over in about one minute, and it was totally worth it! All that is just three days ago. Until now, the healing process is going fine! The first few minutes my lip was four times it's natural size, but after half an hour it wasn't swollen at all. The first day it blooded a few times, but nothing major. The second day my lower lip was a little swollen, but that was gone after a few hours at school. The only difficult thing about this piercing is eating stuff. I think I just have to get used to all of this! (another hard and painful task: kissing...). I just hope my parents are going to get used to it too, and that they will look at me again in the future. I'm very happy with my new addition! My mom and dad aren't, they don't even want to look at me anymore! All my friends think it looks really cool and everyone is taking it fine. The moment I walked out the door of the studio, I wanted to get my next piercing as soon as possible! A bridge would definitely be the next thing, but again my parents are the problem (they still think it's way too extreme and all...). When I have convinced my parents again I will get the bridge so I'm sure you'll hear from me again! That's it for now!
