Look mommy!

y swimming, boating, fishing, golf, playing my flute, eating cookies in the November wind and catching lobsters with my teeth. I have four dogs, two cats, twenty goldfish, and I can't read or write. My last name rhymes with orange. I've traveled to every major country and I have travled across the Atlantic in a rubber raft because I got lost heading here from Cuba. I am a princess in Nepal and I'm Madonna's best friend.(ignore the first part, my expirence was to short to enter so I had to extend the text some.) I have been wanting my nose pierced for quite a long time now and I was quite upset when, for the first 5 years I asked to get my nose pierced I received a big fat "No way in hell" from my parental units. Don't you hate that, when there is no reason It's just NO. If you're not going to let me do something just tell me WHY I can't do it. I'm one of those people who gets things pierced for their 'art value.' I'm a vegan (don't eat any animal products), I write my own songs, and I spend my day memorizing lines for the millions of plays I'm in (so much work, so little time.) I tell you this just so you get an idea of why I would want to be pierced. Well with my sixteenth birthday coming up I figured it would be the perfect time to ask. We were at the dinner table one night when my mom asked, "So Phiacia (don't ask how I got my name) what do you want for your birthday?" and of course me being the lovely child that I am answered "my nose pierced." Well this didn't sit to well with my parents, but I continued to beg and went through quite a bit of crying bouts. We were sitting at the table and I asked, is there anyway we can even compromise? I would really like to get my nose pierced. So after weeks of fighting we finally agreed that if I got good grades this marking period and kept my room constantly clean, I could get it done. my pain threshold Just so you have an idea of how LITTLE pain I can get imagine the last time you stubbed your toe. Did it hurt like crazy? chances are it did. The last time I stubbed my toe i cracked up and cried like an idiot for 15 minutes and put ice on it because I was in so much pain. - flashback - ear piercing gun 2 grade. Now this was back in the day, but it was still upsetting. I went to the mall to get my ears pierced and they pierced one ear and I got up, cried, and ran away. It took them 10 minutes just to convince me to get back in the chair. Now I know I'm so entertaining that you're all captivated by my tales of woe that I think I'll just continue. Seventh grade dentist, my first cavity. The lady hit a nerve while drilling (yea, and I DID NOT have anything to numb it) so i grabbed her had and ripped the running drill out of my mouth. Needless to say she was less than thrilled. This is the story of my life. actual piercing So after setting up my appointment we headed down to the piercer the weekend after my sixteenth birthday. I wasn't nervous at all until we actually reached the shop. I knew what to expect but it all hit me really quickly. They called my name and were like "honey you have nothing to worry about" since I was shaking like a leaf I guess they picked up on my nervousness. I finally got to the back room and they showed me everything they were going to use and explained the whole procedure, and all the after care. They then asked me if I was ready, I said yes, and they pushed the needle through my nostril. My only thought was OUCH. It really hurt, like preasure, pain the whole nine yards, but when I finally saw myself with a little diamond stud in my nose, it was all worth it. So if you want it, just beg and beg and beg and I promise you it is all worth it! I can't wait to show everyone at school, and all my friends love it, half of them are now considering getting it done themselves. My next plan is to get my nipples pierced, but I don't think that one is going to happen for quite a while, and I'm also rather scared of that one too. But oh well, wish me luck!
