Edge girl for life!!!
I am very into body modification, and have already scarred myself and used to have a nostril piercing(RIP). I don't know about everyone else, but for me, body modification is addictive. The person who got me into modification in the first place is my friend Kenevin (IAM: Suffer).
So, a few months after my last scarification, I was feeling the urge to get another modification. Seeing as my mother is another one of those bad conservative people we always hear about, I had to get something that would not include her consent. I spoke to my other friend, Marcus (IAM: Captainmarcus) because I knew he had scarred other people and done an excellent job.
After finding out that Marcus could do my scarification, I had to pick a design. I spent hours one BME and other body modification websites, looking for a design that I liked. I decided that I would like a star. But, after a lot of thinking I decided that I wanted an X more, seeing as just recently I became straight-edge, and to me this was the perfect way to show it. After to speaking to Marcus and making sure he could do it, we had to pick a day and time that my mom and sister would both be out of the house. We decided for July 2 at around two thirty. Now all I had to do was wait.
Saturday, my scarring day, came soon enough. Marcus was at my house by two thirty, and we began to set up. We got together a bowl of water and some towels for the blood. Marcus showed me the scalpel he would be using, which was still in its package. Marcus and I picked out an X. We were choosing between old school X with blocks, or regular X. I chose the regular X.
So I put The Garfield movie in the DVD player (to amuse me while I was being cut up) and I laid down and pulled my pants down off my right thigh. Marcus held the paper with the X design to my leg and made quick stabs at the ends of the X, to make the markings. Once there was some blood, he drew the rest of the X onto my leg with the blood ad began cutting.
It hurt a little bit at first, but it felt wonderful at the same time. I asked Marcus if we were nearly done and said nearly, so I relaxed and watched Garfield. And, before I knew it, Marcus was done. He took of his gloves and told me to hold the rag to my thigh to stop the blood from getting on the couch.
I helped clean up ( all the while holding the rag to my thigh) and we put the used scalpel into an empty pill bottle. After throwing out the bloody rags and pill bottle Marcus gave me some after care instructions ( Scrub really hard and really fast with a tooth brush once every two days, and then pour vinegar on it, and always keep it covered)
So I walked to the pharmacy and got everything I needed, then went back home and slept for a few hours. Then I went over to Kenevins house to show him my X, and "wrestle" him for my house keys.
The first two days my leg was sore, and it hurt when I moved my leg certain ways, but it was bearable none the less.
It's been three days now and my X is looking beautiful. Yesterday there was some yellow-ish liquid coming out but Marcus assured me that was normal. I scrubbed it for the first time yesterday, and it didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. I've showed it to a few of my friends and they've all said it looks great! I'm planning on getting two more X's added, one on each side. But I only want that done once this X is all healed up.
Now, just because my mom hasn't found out about my scarification YET, doesn't mean you can go out and get scarred or pierced and not get caught. And taking chances and not getting scarred by a professional is a risk I took, although Marcus kept everything clean, doesn't mean everyone does. After reading this don't go out and get yourself modified by just anyone without parental consent, but if you do for some reason, make sure everything is clean and you trust the person who is doing it. I trust Marcus and I know he's experienced with scarring and everything, so that's why I had him do it.
Next Marcus will hopefully be piercing my ears with large gauge needles ( Eight gauge to be exact) because I want to start stretching and I'm not the most patient person in the world.
Anyways, good luck, happy scarring, and keep it clean!!
